Bet man gribētos pievērst jūsu uzmanību vienai citai lietai šajā likumprojektā, un es saprotu, ka cienījamais Finanšu ministrijas parlamentārais sekretārs varbūt gribēs nākt un teikt līdzīgi kā par iepriekšējo - par ceļu izmantošanas nodevas likumu, proti: neskatieties uz šo likumprojektu, šī vietā nāks cits likumprojekts. Teksts būs citādāks. Tad, lūdzu, deputāti, vismaz apzinieties, ka jūs ar šo balsojumu varat izrādīt cieņu pret parlamentu un prasību pret Ministru kabinetu. Ja mēs šobrīd runājam par likumprojektu jeb likumdošanas kvalitāti un sakām, ka likumprojektam vajadzētu būt apspriestam trijos lasījumos vai vismaz divos lasījumos, tad šajā gadījumā, cik ir zināms no Budžeta un finanšu (nodokļu) komisijas sēdes, nāks uz otro lasījumu jauns teksts, par kuru mēs pārējie - par šo jauno tekstu - priekšlikumus vairs nepaspēsim iesniegt, jo tas jau būs otrais lasījums, kur mēs redzēsim, kāds ir galarezultāts. Cienījamie kolēģi! Ja valdība ir novēloti attapusies, ka šīs summas, kas tur ir aprēķinātas, īstenībā sit pa kabatu tiem, kam ir vienkāršākas mašīnas un kas ir trūcīgāki, savukārt būtiski atvieglo dzīvi tiem, kam ir krietni jaudīgākas mašīnas - ar augstāku oglekļa dioksīda izmešu daudzumu... ja ir attapušies vēlāk, tad... Vajadzēja to savlaicīgi Budžeta un finanšu (nodokļu) komisijai arī iesniegt. Šobrīd šāds likumprojekts, kurā mēs īstenībā lemsim par pavisam citu tekstu (un par to jau iepriekš tiekam brīdināti), kurš netiks apspriests divos lasījumos, bet tikai vienā lasījumā, - tā, atklāti sakot, ir ņirgāšanās par parlamentu.
