Sociālo un darba lietu komisija 13.septembrī saņēma lielu vēstuli no Latvijas Lielo pilsētu asociācijas, kuru parakstījis izpilddirektors V.Valainis. Man liekas, tas ir Saeimas deputāts, ja? Tai vēstulei bija pievienots likumprojekts, kura nosaukums ir “Pašvaldības policijas amatpersonu izdienas pensiju likums”, - ar visu anotāciju, skaitļiem, tāds ļoti nopietns darbs. Tas nonāca komisijā ar lūgumu izskatīt šo likumprojektu sēdē, jo asociācija to pilnīgi atbalsta. Uzskatu, ka tas ir vajadzīgs un svarīgs. Argumentācija ir ļoti līdzīga SASKAŅAS frakcijas argumentācijai, kura arī uzskata, ka tas ir godīgi attiecībā pret policistiem un darbiniekiem, kas strādā pašvaldībā un garantē mums kārtību. Argumenti ir par to, ka pašvaldības policijas funkcijas ir ļoti līdzīgas Valsts policijas funkcijām, un viņi lūdz, lai pašvaldības policistiem, kuriem ir vienas funkcijas, vieni apdraudējumi un vieni riski ar valsts policistiem, maksātu arī pēc vienādiem principiem. Argumentācija, es saku, ir ļoti laba, un komisijas vadītāja Aija Barča lūdza man pārbaudīt, cik tas atbilst maniem principiem un manam likumprojektam, ko sagatavoja SASKAŅAS frakcija. Es uzskatu, ka daudzas idejas ir ļoti līdzīgas. Es piekrītu komisijas priekšsēdētājai, ka vajadzētu virzīt šo likumprojektu, ja tik daudz ieinteresēto personu - 9 tūkstoši šo likumprojektu parakstījušo - iesniedza to gan Mandātu, ētikas un iesniegumu komisijai, gan Sociālo un darba lietu komisijai, gan, es saprotu, asociācijai. Lai saglabātu ideju un lai nedotu iespēju valdošajai koalīcijai manu likumprojektu noraidīt bez motivācijas un bez argumentācijas, es esmu gatavs atsaukt savu parakstu ar tādu nosacījumu, ka Sociālo un darba lietu komisija līdz gada beigām izskatīs un virzīs šo likumprojektu, kuru atsūtīja asociācija, un ka šī problēma netiks ignorēta. Uz nākošo gadu mēs nepaspēsim likumprojektu sagatavot līdz trešajam lasījumam, bet, ja šī ideja būtu aktuāla uz 2018.gadu, 2018.gadā mēs varētu garantēt pašvaldības policistiem tādas pašas sociālās garantijas kā policistiem, kuri strādā Valsts policijā. Tāpēc es iesniedzu Saeimas Prezidijam lūgumu atsaukt savu priekšlikumu. (Starpsauciens: “Ooo!”) Tātad mēs šo likumprojektu tomēr neskatām, bet Sociālo un darba lietu komisija līdz gada beigām, cik es saprotu no priekšsēdētājas, sola sākt šo procedūru un likumprojektu virzīt.
