Ja koalīcijai valsts intereses tomēr būtu svarīgākas par sava monopola labklājību un tai tiešām rūpētu atrast vislabāko risinājumu veselības aprūpei, tad pareizi būtu bijis, ka tā ļautu arī VIENOTĪBAI, kura izteica gatavību uzņemties politisko atbildību par šo nozari, izvirzīt savu amata kandidātu un ļautu šiem diviem kandidātiem savā starpā debatēt, lai Saeimai tādējādi būtu iespēja izvēlēties labāko, cienījamāko no viņiem. Kādēļ no tā bija jābaidās? VIENOTĪBA, ko dod tas, ka jūs savā iekšienē veicāt šīs brašās politiskā līdera debates, paralēli nosakot savu cienījamāko premjera amata kandidātu, ja tad, kad ir runa par reālu varas atbildību, jūs neuzdrošināties pat diskutēt par veselības ministra amatu? Jā, pamatoti tiek daudz runāts par to, ka situācija veselības aprūpes jomā ir dramatiski slikta. Tas ir pamatoti, skatoties no pacientu puses, no tā medicīnas personāla puses, kas ir spiests visu šo problemātiku nest uz saviem pleciem. Taču tajā pašā laikā šajā dramatiskajā situācijā, kad veselības aprūpes nozarē katastrofāli pietrūkst finansējuma, mēs redzam, ka šāda situācija ir gana ērta un izdevīga un nes ļoti lielu labklājību, par kādu šīs nozares smagumu nesošais medicīnas personāls pat nevar uzdrīkstēties sapņot, bet kādu to sev nodrošina, teiksim, vadošajos amatos esošie vai arī tie, kuri ir izveidojuši savu privāto biznesu, izmantojot valsts apmaksāto infrastruktūru. Arī farmācijas bizness... šeit es domāju - tirgotājs… Paskatieties, tas ir viens no pelnošākajiem biznesiem! Miljonāru topos atrodas šie cilvēki. Un tā tas ir apstākļos, kad veselības aprūpes nozarei trūkst finansējuma! Ziniet, tas acīm redzami parāda, ka lietu kārtība un naudas aprite ir deformēta šajā nozarē, turklāt par labu kādam. Varbūt tieši tāpēc nekādas izmaiņas nozarē nenotiek, jo kādam ir ļoti izdevīgi saglabāt šādu status quo, un tāpēc mums šīs reformas arī nenotiek. Varbūt pareizāk būtu tiešām uzaicināt par veselības ministru cilvēku, kurš nav no šīs sistēmas, bet kuram ir vesels, skaidrs saprāts un tiešām reāla vēlēšanās veikt reformas un sakārtot šo nozari? Tas būtu vispareizākais risinājums. Tas, kas mani uztrauc, ir, teiksim, kaut vai konkrētie fakti - pēdējie, kas ir parādījušies par P.Stradiņa Klīnisko universitātes slimnīcu.
