Pirms gada, pagājušā gada jūnijā, mēs jau debatējām par šādu priekšlikumu, kuru es biju iesniedzis uz trešo lasījumu. Argumenti, kāpēc tas tika noraidīts, tika pamatoti ar to, ka tas ir sasteigts un nav saņemti atbildīgo iestāžu atzinumi. Tāpēc daļa kolēģu neatbalstīja šo priekšlikumu. Ir pagājis gads, ir saņemti atbildīgo iestāžu atzinumi. Labklājības ministrija, Tieslietu ministrija, tiesībsargs, Ekonomikas ministrija un arī Latvijas Universitātes Juridiskā fakultāte ir sniegusi savu atzinumu. Būtībā tās visas kopumā atbalsta šos priekšlikumus, ir varbūt tikai dažas nianses, piemēram, Labklājības ministrija piedāvāja diskriminācijas aizlieguma pamatojumu ģimenes stāvokļa dēļ papildināt ar “ģimenes un laulības stāvokļa dēļ”...
