Es tiešām cienu arī viņas konservatīvos uzskatus un priecājos, ka šādu deputātu kļūst aizvien vairāk Saeimā. Es tomēr, pārstāvot tos deputātus, kuri aizstāv ģimenes vērtības, vēlos tiešām iebilst, ka nav... šobrīd nepastāv draudi, ka laulības institūts varētu kaut kādā veidā tikt deformēts, laulības slēdzot pie notāra. Mēs zinām, ka notāri nevar rīkoties pretēji Latvijas Republikas Satversmei. Un nav neviena veida, kādā notāri varētu sastādīt notariālo aktu tā, lai tas būtu pretēji Latvijas Civillikumam. Es domāju, ka drīzāk laulības institūtu varētu deformēt vakardien... aizvakar pieņemtais lēmums atbalstīt Stambulas konvenciju. (Starpsauciens: “Kā?!”) Proti, tas varētu to ietekmēt tādā veidā, ka šī konvencija ieviesīs Latvijā jaunu ideju par dzimuma definīciju, sociālā dzimuma vai dzimtes definīciju. (Starpsauciens: “Vajag izlasīt!”) Runājot par argumentu attiecībā uz pašvaldību budžetiem, es domāju, ka Iesalnieka kungs jau minēja to, ka... Bet es neredzu konkurenci starp notāriem un dzimtsarakstu nodaļām. Tika minēti divi, četri, pieci vai seši procenti Igaunijā. Manuprāt, tas tiešām neietekmēs dzimtsarakstu nodaļu budžetu, jo pie notāriem, visticamāk, nāks tie cilvēki, kuri vai nu nebūtu gājuši vispār slēgt laulību, jo tā viņiem varbūt ir otrā laulība, viņi ilgstoši ir dzīvojuši bez laulības slēgšanas, vai arī būtu izmantojuši ikdienišķo dzimtsarakstu nodaļas pakalpojumu, kā jau te tika minēts. Un tas arī ir vēl viens pozitīvs moments. Iespējams, ka sabiedrība tikai šodien uzzinās to, ka dzimtsarakstu nodaļas par 14 eiro var salaulāt cilvēku, kurš vienkārši atnācis no darba un tērpies džinsos. Tā ka notāri nebūs konkurenti šim pakalpojumam, jo mēs zinām, ka... tikko skanēja informācija, ka notāru pakalpojums šajā gadījumā būs daudz dārgāks. Un tāpēc, piekrītot arī kolēģu iebildumiem, Kūtra kunga iebildumiem par to, ka šis likumprojekts savā ziņā vēl ir nepilnīgs, es uzskatu, ka šajā likumprojektā vajadzētu ieviest vairākas izmaiņas un to uzlabot tā, lai tas ir skaidrāks un lai šī sistēma darbotos. Es vēlos tikai atgādināt to, kolēģi, ka šā gada 3.martā Saeima pieņēma ļoti nepilnīgu likumu - “Grozījumi Krimināllikumā” un vairāki deputāti arī no tribīnes atzina to, ka šie grozījumi ir uzlabojami, bet konceptuāli tos atbalstīja lielākā daļa Saeimas deputātu. Tāpēc, kolēģi, nesirgsim ar selektīvo perfekcionismu (Dep. S.Āboltiņa: “Mēs nepiekrītam konceptuāli!”), un, ja jums nav konceptuālu iebildumu pret šo ideju, es aicinu atbalstīt. Paldies.".
