Pirmkārt, mēs pagājušonedēļ tikāmies ar finanšu ministri, kura pārrunu laikā izteica tādu viedokli, ka transportlīdzekļa nodoklis vai nodeva, kā nu to sauc, esot patēriņa nodoklis. Un mums radās daudz jautājumu gan finanšu ministrei, gan valdošajai koalīcijai: kādiem mērķiem patiesībā šis nodoklis tiek piemērots? Vai tā ir tikai nodeva par to, ka jums pieder automašīna, vai tie tiešām ir līdzekļi, kas tiek izlietoti pēc tam ceļu uzturēšanai? Vēlējāmies, lai valdošā koalīcija un Saeima kopumā definē šā likuma mērķi. Diemžēl ar 60 balsīm “pret” un tikai 30 – “par” šī iniciatīva tika noraidīta. Vēl viens būtisks lēmums šodien bija par lauksaimniecības zemēm. Cik atceros, mēs vienīgie iestājāmies pret, jo uzskatām, ka šī brīža apstākļos jebkura veida soda naudu un nodokļu palielināšana Latvijas ekonomikai nāk par sliktu un šie naudas sodi nerisinās situāciju, ja būs tā, kā ir šobrīd, kad piena nozare ir ļoti kritiskā situācijā, un, iespējams, ka tās fermas, kurām ir lielas platības, nespēs tās apsaimniekot un būs jālikvidē lopi, un viņiem papildus vēl būs sods par to, ka viņi nespēj apsaimniekot šīs platības. Mums šķiet, ka tās situācijas būs jārisina individuāli un jāvēršas tikai pret ļaunprātīgajiem, nevis pret visiem. Mēs nobalsojām šodien pret steidzamības piešķiršanu Liepājas speciālās ekonomiskās zonas likuma grozījumiem, jo uzskatām, ka tādi jautājumi diez vai ir risināmi steidzamības kārtībā. Tos var risināt parastajā kārtībā, vairāk diskutējot. Mēs atbalstījām grozījumus Kredītiestāžu likumā, kuros tika palielināta atbildība un soda naudas summas atbildīgajām amatpersonām, kuras pārstāv kredītiestādes. Vienlaikus akcentējam uzmanību uz to, ka šobrīd ļoti daudz tiek diskutēts par privātajā sektorā strādājošo atbildību un naudas summām, kuras viņiem soda gadījumā jāsedz. Diemžēl netiek akcentēta ierēdniecības un valsts un pašvaldību institūcijās strādājošo amatpersonu atbildība, kuru darbības rezultātā arī ļoti bieži ir zaudējumi gan tautsaimniecībai, gan privātpersonām. Par izskatāmajiem jautājumiem šodien tas vairāk vai mazāk ir viss. Gribu vēl pievērst uzmanību tam, ko šeit iepriekš runājušais veselības ministrs minēja par reģionālajām slimnīcām. Latvijas Reģionu apvienība nevar piekrist viņa optimismam un piedalīsies šodien notiekošajā reģionālo slimnīcu sanāksmē Nacionālajā veselības dienestā, kur mēs gribēsim dzirdēt tos argumentus, kāpēc, pieņemsim, Saldus slimnīcai un citām reģionālajām slimnīcām ir atņemti līdzekļi, lai gan iepriekš tika solīts, ka līdzekļi samazināti netiks. Un, protams, katrs vienmēr... tas, kurš kaut ko ņem nost, meklē argumentus, bet, mūsuprāt, šobrīd šie argumenti nav pārliecinoši, un mēs uzskatām, ka tas ir kārtējais solis tajā virzienā, lai reģionos dzīves līmenis pazeminātos un reģioni iztukšotos.
