Tā kā tā prognoze, ko mēs no savas puses noteiksim, budžetu veidojot, jebkurā gadījumā būs saskaņota ar šiem pārējiem ekspertiem. Kas ir jādara, lai tautsaimniecību stiprinātu? No Finanšu ministrijas puses tā viennozīmīgi ir arī nodokļu politika, un es domāju, ka tas signāls, ko es jau uzņēmējiem no savas puses esmu devusi, ka nebūs nekādu pārsteigumu nodokļu politikā, ka nebūs nekādu pēdējās nakts ierosinājumu jaunu nodokļu veidā, lai aizpildītu budžeta caurumus, – ka tas vien jau ir liels solis pretim veselīgākai tautsaimniecībai. Tas dod tik ļoti vajadzīgo stabilitātes sajūtu uzņēmumiem, kuri, plānojot savu darbību, grib zināt, kas ar viņiem notiks ne tikai šodien, bet arī rīt. Un paralēli šīs stabilitātes sajūtas radīšanai, protams, mēs pārskatām šobrīd kopumā Latvijas nodokļu politiku. Ir piesaistīti arī Pasaules Bankas speciālisti. Vakardien viņi bija Latvijā, prezentēja jau līdz šim padarīto darbu; kalibrējām darba uzdevumu, lai mums būtu vienāda izpratne par to, ko mēs no viņiem gaidām.
