Iespējams, ka to varēs mainīt arī grozījumi likumā “Par valsts un pašvaldību dzīvojamo māju privatizāciju”, kas paredzēs varbūt atvieglotāku procedūru, jo šobrīd praktiski ir vajadzīgi simtprocentīgi visu mājas iedzīvotāju iesniegumi, un tas mūsdienu situācijā nav reāli iespējams. Rezultātā māja maksā par zemi, kura pieder kādam mistiskam īpašniekam, bet iedzīvotājiem absolūti nav vajadzīga. Otrajā lasījumā Saeima šodien atbalstīja arī likumprojektu “Civilās aizsardzības un katastrofas pārvaldīšanas likums”, par kuru visai vētraini un gari tika debatēts jau Aizsardzības, iekšlietu un korupcijas novēršanas komisijā. Galvenā problēma bija līdzsvarot valsts un pašvaldību intereses, jo šis likums paredz konkrētu valsts institūciju un pašvaldības institūciju rīcību, sākot no lielām, teiksim, ķīmiskām, katastrofām un beidzot ar ikdienišķiem plūdiem. Šajā likumā tagad ir ļoti skaidri un sīki sadalītas funkcijas, darāmie darbi un līdz ar to, jācer, vairs nebūs iespējama šāda situācija, ka notiek kāda nelaime un valsts un pašvaldību iestādes skatās cita uz citu, un neviens neko nedara. Nu, šobrīd tāda situācija, jādomā, tiks novērsta un trešajā lasījumā arī šis likumprojekts tiks pieņemts. Vēl daži vārdi man būtu sakāmi par vakar notikušo leģionāru piemiņas dienu. Mēs redzam, ka ar katru gadu šī atzīmēšana kļūst arvien mierīgāka un nepolitizēta, un izskatās, ka arī Rietumvalstis tomēr ir pieņēmušas šo faktu, ka ikvienai suverēnai valstij ir tiesības kaut kādā veidā atzīmēt savu kritušo karavīru piemiņu, vienalga kādos apstākļos viņi ir krituši. Bet, nu, protams, katru gadu šeit mēģina parādīties arī kāds provokators, un šis gads nebija izņēmums, kad tāds pseidožurnālists Greiems Filipss, kurš ir ļoti labi zināms ar savu prokremlisko nostāju Austrumukrainas jautājumos, kurš vairākus mēnešus tur ir darbojies un sniedzis ļoti tendenciozus sižetus. Viņš ieradās Rīgā un mēģināja arī šeit provocēt cilvēkus, un šajā gadījumā es gribu tomēr mest nelielu akmeni iekšlietu ministra dārziņā, jo, manuprāt, izvērtējot šī kunga iepriekšējo darbošanos, bija iespēja viņu iekļaut “melnajā sarakstā” un neielaist Latvijā. Tagad pēc šī pasākuma viņš jau ir pierādījis savu provokatora lomu – tika aizturēts pasākuma laikā un izraidīts, kā arī iekļauts “melnajā sarakstā”, tikai tas viņam ir devis papildu reklāmu un pievērsis pasaules mediju lieku uzmanību.
