Piemēram, Kalpu nams Rātslaukumā un Triangula bastions krastmalā. Es ļoti labi atceros, kādas bija diskusijas šeit: ka noteikti vajag. Visi cēla rokas un nobalsoja, un šīs ēkas tika iebūvētas Vecrīgā. Jautājums: vai to profesionāļi risināja? Nē, politiķi! Mēs dzīvojam demokrātiskā Latvijā, un jēdzienam “kultūrvēsturiskais mantojums” vajadzētu būt piepildītam ar dziļu izpratni par kultūras vērtību saglabāšanu nākošajām paaudzēm. Tāpēc Saeimas frakcija “No sirds Latvijai” balsos “pret” šī likumprojekta nodošanu komisijām. Un noslēgumā es gribu vēlreiz atgādināt: frakcija “No sirds Latvijai” nav pret šo projektu, taču tas jautājums ir jārisina citādāk, nepiebūvējot pie jau gatavas ēkas piebūvi.
