Tas ir mūsu redzējums, mēs atbalstījām šādu dienesta attiecību izveidošanu un dodam sešus mēnešus laika esošajam vadītājam Streļčenokam reāli parādīt uzlabojumus darbībā. Pretējā gadījumā mēs rudenī varētu lemt arī par iespējamo šīs organizācijas reorganizāciju, ja arī šīs izmaiņas nepalīdzēs KNAB sākt strādāt. Jo turpināt tērēt valsts līdzekļus un nepārtraukti nākt ar lozungiem par korupcijas apkarošanu, bet patiesībā neuzrādīt nekādus dižus reālus rezultātus – tā ir noziedzība pret tautu, kura šodien cīnās pati par savu izdzīvošanu. Otrs būtisks jautājums bija par Latvijas Okupācijas muzeju. Uzreiz jāteic, ka Latvijas Reģionu apvienība nekādā ziņā neapstrīd Latvijas Okupācijas muzeja jēgu, būtību un nozīmi. Bet veids, kā tas šobrīd tiek pasniegts, mūs pat vairs nepārsteidz, jo šī koalīcija ar šādiem jautājumiem nodarbojas regulāri, un atkal primārais ir jautājums nevis par būtību, bet par naudas sadali. Mums šķiet, ka šie līdzekļi, kas tiks atvēlēti, – 7 miljoni eiro –, tie vairāk... lielākais akcents šobrīd tiek likts uz šiem līdzekļiem, nevis uz to, lai mūsu bērni, mazbērni un cilvēki, kas ir atbraukuši no ārzemēm, varētu iepazīties ar okupācijas faktu dokumentiem un pierādījumiem. Tālāk. Mēs atbalstījām arī sabiedrības iniciatīvu attiecībā... par samazinātā PVN elektrībai un gāzei novirzīšanu komisijai. Tas nenozīmē, ka mēs uzreiz to atbalstām, jo tiešām ir detalizēti jāanalizē, kāda ietekme būs uz valsts budžetu un cik tas ir likumīgi. Bet neatbalstīt vairāk kā 10 tūkstošu cilvēku iniciatīvas izskatīšanu – tas būtu kārtējais nepareizais signāls sabiedrībai. Vēl Latvijas Reģionu apvienība bija nosūtījusi vēstuli tieslietu ministram ar konkrētiem 14 jautājumiem saistībā ar nekustamo īpašumu apsaimniekošanu Tieslietu ministrijas pakļautībā esošajā Tiesu namu aģentūrā, jo droši vien nevienam vairs nav noslēpums par šo darījumu, kurš bija veikts jau pirms kāda laika Jūrmalā un kura rezultātā, mūsuprāt, no valsts budžeta ir izkrāpts vairāk nekā viens miljons eiro. Diemžēl ministrs... ministra parakstītā un no ministrijas saņemtā atbilde ir visai formāla un tajā nav galvenās atbildes – kurš atbildēs par šāda veida darbībām. Tas jau ir tradicionāli, ka šī koalīcija nespēj panākt vārda “atbildība” ienākšanu augstākajos varas līmeņos un panākt tā iedzīvināšanu. Ir vārdi, bet nav darbības. Un visbeidzot par šodien pieņemto lēmumu attiecībā uz pensiju indeksāciju. Mēs arī to atbalstījām un uzskatām, ka tas ir pamatoti un tā bija jādara, tikai mums bija nedaudz jocīgi skatīties, kāda viedokļu mainība ir notikusi vienā no varas partijām, kura vēl nesen mānīja... ar bijušā premjera muti mānīja pensionārus par indeksāciju un pēc tam rādīja čurikus vai vēl kaut ko tur, bet beigu beigās šodien, kad tuvojas kārtējās vēlēšanas, atkal lielā vienprātībā sola pensionāriem.
