Un līdz ar to šie grozījumi ir tiešām ļoti rūpīgi izstrādāti ekspertu grupā. Arī pagājušajā ceturtdienā komisiju kopsēdē Sarkanajā zālē piedalījās pārstāvji gan no Ģenerālprokuratūras, gan no Tieslietu ministrijas, kā arī tie cilvēki, kuriem būs jāveic šā likuma piemērošana, tātad pārstāvji no tiesu varas - no Augstākās tiesas, no Rīgas apgabaltiesas; arī advokāti pauda savu atbalstu, un pat Juristu biedrība bija ieradusies, lai būtu pietiekami plaša diskusija, lai novērstu šādas spekulācijas, par kurām nupat šeit runāja Agešina kungs. Protams, var nepatikt tas, ka anotācijā ir rakstīts, ka šie konkrētie likuma grozījumi ļaus vērsties pret tiem cilvēkiem, kuri citu valstu interesēs rīkos patriotiskas nometnes, kurās aicinās mūsu jauniešus... Padomāsim: vai mēs gribam, lai tie patriotiskie jaunieši domātu, ka viņiem ir jāaizstāv Latvija, vai tomēr vairāk mēģinātu domāt par kādas citas kaimiņvalsts interesēm? Tātad šīs likuma normas ir izstrādātas un rūpīgi saskaņotas un izvērtētas. Jā, arī šajā diskusijā tika norādīts uz atsevišķām neprecizitātēm, un arī likuma piemērotāji norādīja: jo precīzākas būs šīs normas, jo mazāk būs iespējams tās interpretēt un jo precīzāk varēs tās piemērot, jo šis likumprojekts būs kvalitatīvāks. Bet šis likumprojekts ir tieši laikā... Arī pēc tam, ziņojot par to pirmajā lasījumā, es aicināšu to pieņemt steidzamības kārtībā, jo nav nekā svarīgāka par mūsu nacionālo drošību. Mums ir jābūt gataviem ar likumiskiem mērķiem savu valsti aizsargāt pret tiem, kuri tai nevēl labu. Lūdzu atbalstīt likumprojekta nodošanu komisijai.".
