Iespējams, ka jaunie saprot, ka viņi vairs neko nevarēs izdarīt, jo principā visi... kā es saprotu, Ekonomikas ministrija ar atbildīgajiem darbiniekiem pārcelsies uz Finanšu ministriju, un Finanšu ministrija, protams, nebūs atbildīga par šo tirgus liberalizāciju. Tāpēc mans priekšlikums bija par to, kā šo visu pasākumu var izglābt un uztaisīt korekti, ja tik tiešām kādam ir interese īstenot sekmīgu, ātru un sakārtotu tirgus liberalizāciju Latvijas sabiedrības interesēs, patērētāju interesēs. Tā ka, lūdzu, nenodarbosimies šeit ar demagoģiju, bet domāsim reāli, kā šo lietu var izdarīt!".
