Un es domāju, ka daļēji iekšlietu ministrs pagājušajās debatēs par nacionālo drošību jau atbildēja uz vairākiem jautājumiem. Es gribētu atbildēt Daudzes kungam par Eiropas robežapsardzes dienestu. Mēs vēl esam diskusiju procesā. Varu teikt tikai vienu – es uzskatu, ka šāds dienests ir jāveido, bet problēma, par ko mums būs jādiskutē, ir tā, ka ir piedāvāts, ka šis dienests ar īpašu Eiropas Komisijas vai Eiropas Savienības kādas citas institūcijas lēmumu dodas uz tām valstīm, kuras netiek galā ar savu ārējo robežu apsardzību. Un tas savā ziņā ir jautājums arī par vēl plašāku suverenitātes ierobežošanu. Es domāju, par šiem jautājumiem mums būs jādiskutē nopietni – kādas pilnvaras mēs vēlamies. Personīgi es principiāli atbalstu šāda dienesta izveidi, lai gan arī valdībā šīs diskusijas būs. Kola kungs runāja par Ārējās ekonomiskās politikas koordinācijas padomi. Jāteic, ka, cik mēs esam runājuši ar uzņēmēju organizācijām, šīs organizācijas, tādas kā LDDK, LTRK, nozaru asociācijas, kā arī nozaru ministrijas, ir gana apmierinātas ar to, ka esam savstarpēji vienojušies par vēstniecību tīkla izveidi un atvēršanu, kā arī esam vienojušies un sagatavojuši prioritāru sarakstu gan ārvalstu vizīšu, gan arī citu aktivitāšu jomā. Ja jums ir vēlēšanās, neapšaubāmi, mēs varam organizēt kādu īpašu Ārlietu komisijas sēdi un jūs iepazīstināt ar šo darbu, bet, godīgi sakot, es domāju, ka šeit būtu vairāk jāieklausās uzņēmēju organizācijās, kuras tiešām visu šo vērtēja ļoti pozitīvi. Kiršteina kungs runāja par Mistral kuģiem... Kiršteina kungs, jāteic, ka Ārlietu ministrija faktiski jau pat kopš 2010.gada... 2011.gada... jau pirms tam, kad es biju ārlietu ministrs, un arī manā laikā principiāli pauda savu pozīciju un arī turpināja to paust līdz brīdim, kad Francija, starp citu, arī solidaritātes vārdā tomēr no šī darījuma atteicās. Un dažreiz, kad mēs prasām kaut ko no sabiedrotajiem, ir jāņem vērā, ka viņiem ir tiesības arī lūgt mūsu atbalstu. Par sankciju noņemšanu. Jā, par to ir dzirdēti ļoti daudzi izteikumi kopš 2014.gada sākuma. Starp citu, ja jau jūs gribat dzirdēt principiālu nostāju par Francijas pozīciju, tad es gribētu dzirdēt jūsu viedokli par vairāku Višegradas valstu vadītāju, ar kuriem jūs tik ļoti vēlaties draudzēties, principiālo nostāju gan sankciju ziņā, gan arī tajā ziņā, ka brauca pagājušogad uz 9.maija svinībām. Ja mēs runājam par kaut kādu stratēģisko partnerību, tad jāsaprot, ka mums ir arī jomas, kurās mūsu viedokļi totāli nesakrīt. Tāpēc es saku tā: mēs akli netaisīsim savienības un koalīcijas. Mēs sadarbosimies ar tām valstīm, ar kurām mūsu intereses sakrīt, un mēģināsim pārliecināt mūsu sabiedrotos, mūsu partnerus tad, ja mēs uzskatīsim, ka mūsu viedokļi nesakrīt. Tāpēc arī sankciju jautājumā atsevišķu politiķu izteikumi, 28 dalībvalstu dažāda pozīcija nav nekas jauns. Daudz būtiskāk ir, ka mēs, būdami ar dažādiem viedokļiem, beigās spējam pēc astoņu, desmit, divpadsmit stundu diskusijām vienoties, un Eiropas Savienības politika attiecībā uz Ukrainu un Krieviju ir bijusi tomēr labs mūsu vienotības paraugs. Un vēl divi pēdējie jautājumi, par kuriem es gribētu kaut ko teikt. Kiršteina kungs! Es savā runā ļoti skaidri to teicu, un tas arī ir ierakstīts ziņojumā: Latvijas vēstniecība Apvienotajos Arābu Emirātos jau strādā, turklāt strādā jau ilgāk nekā gadu. Es domāju, ka, gan Eiropas lietu komisijā strādājot, gan parlamentā strādājot, lasot dokumentus, tas bija pamanāms fakts. Un es tomēr aicinu: lai kā mums dažreiz liekas, ka mums visiem ir liela taisnība un pārliecība, netaisīsim no cilvēkiem, kas ir strādājuši Arāja komandā, ne varoņus, ne upurus! Jautājums nav pat par juridisku kvalifikāciju, ir arī morālas un politiskas dabas kategorijas. Un man nebūs pieņemama to cilvēku, kas ir darbojušies vai nu čekā, vai arī nacistiskās Vācijas struktūrās, kaut kāda veida heroizācija un glorifikācija. Šeit nu gan būsim vienoti! Un, kas attiecas uz tiesiskās palīdzības līgumiem, es gribu vērst jūsu uzmanību uz to, ka tiesiskās palīdzības sadarbība notiek nevis ar Ārlietu ministrijas starpniecību, bet parasti vai nu ar Ģenerālprokuratūras, vai arī, ja līgumos ir noteikts, Tieslietu ministrijas starpniecību. Tāpēc šajā konkrētajā situācijā gribu teikt paldies, protams, par ļoti daudziem interesantiem komentāriem un piezīmēm. Nākamreiz es kāpšu tribīnē debašu beigās, sakrājot vēl papildu jautājumus. Taču kopumā man jau tagad gribētos teikt, ka man ir prieks par to, ka diskusiju kvalitāte Saeimā (tieši tāpat, kā jūs bieži sakāt par katru no ārpolitikas ziņojumiem) ar katru reizi kļūst labāka, interesantāka, un, domāju, ir interesanta gan žurnālistiem, gan vēstniekiem, kas šeit ir.
