Nenoliedzami, tie ir ļoti svarīgi argumenti, kā cilvēki jūtas, līdz ar to - kādus secinājumus viņi izdara par to, vai šeit palikt vai iespējamā konflikta gadījumā doties prom. Un šajā gadījumā mēs dzirdējām arī salīdzinājumus ar Igauniju. Taču, manuprāt, visā šajā diskusijā izpaliek viens arguments - šis arguments ir 2008., 2009.gada notikumi. Atšķirībā no Igaunijas šobrīd mūsu kopējais parāds ir nevis 8 procenti no IKP, bet 32 vai 33, es tagad nezinu precīzi šos procentus. Līdz ar to paldies visu dienestu vadītājiem, kuri spējuši šā smagā budžeta apstākļos tomēr izdarīt to minimāli nepieciešamo - gan nodrošināt robežu, gan stiprināt policiju, gan arī stiprināt armiju. Tā ka paldies visiem! Un novēlējums esošajiem un nākošajiem valdības vadītājiem būtu šāds. Paskatoties uz socioloģiskajās aptaujās gūto novērtējumu, mēs šobrīd redzam, ka pagājušajā gadā populārākās iestādes Latvijā bijušas izglītības iestādes, lai arī cik jocīgi tas izklausītos: 65,9 procenti - sabiedrības atbalsts. Tad seko baznīca ar 42,8 procentiem, trešā ir armija ar 42,4 procentiem, un policija diemžēl ir tikai desmitajā vietā. Tā ka novēlu policijai pēc šī finansējuma saņemšanas arī savas spējas audzēt. Un otrs novēlējums gan aizsardzības nozares veidotājiem, gan arī mums pārējiem ir domāt par to: ja mēs skatāmies uz mūsu ziemeļu kaimiņiem - gan Igauniju, gan Somiju -, tad redzam, ka gandrīz 90 procenti... vairāk nekā 90 procenti somu un igauņu ir gatavi aizstāvēt savu valsti. Mums ir 60 procenti. Tā kā, protams, ir atšķirības starp obligāto dienestu un profesionālo armiju, tas noteikti ietekmē šos procentus, bet ieteikums būtu, lai vismaz tādā triju gadu nogrieznī - līdz 2018.gadam - no šiem 60 procentiem mēs pakāptos uz augšu - uz kādiem 70-75 procentiem.
