Pirms brīža noslēdzās Saeimas ziemas sesijas pirmā sēde, kas norisinājās zīmīgā laikā – barikāžu laika 25.gadadienas zīmē. 13.janvāris bija diena, kad, atsaucoties Latvijas Tautas frontes aicinājumam, aptuveni 500 tūkstoši Latvijas iedzīvotāju – latvieši, lietuvieši, igauņi, poļi, ukraiņi, krievi – pulcējās protesta manifestācijā Daugavmalā, kā arī sāka veidot barikādes Vecrīgas ielās. Tas bija cerību un ideālu laiks, kad cilvēkus vienoja ideja par savu valsti, par iespēju pašiem veidot savu nākotni. Divdesmit pieci gadi – neilgs, bet notikumiem bagāts laiks. Atjaunota valsts neatkarība, izveidota daudzpartiju politiskā sistēma, Latvija kļuvusi par Eiropas Savienības un NATO dalībvalsti. Taču šis laiks ir nesis arī daudzus pārbaudījumus – sabiedrības sociālo nevienlīdzību, bezdarbu, nabadzību, nespēju rēķināties ar sabiedrības un valsts interesēm. Frakcijas “No sirds Latvijai” deputāti uzskata, ka tieši valsts interesēm ir jābūt tām, kuras ir ikviena Saeimas deputāta un valdības locekļa lēmumu pamatā. Mēs arī šajā sesijā turpināsim iestāties par sabiedrībai nozīmīgiem jautājumiem. 2016.gadam esam izvirzījuši vairākas prioritātes – valsts budžeta izstrādes procesa pilnveidošanu, izglītības sistēmas (tai skaitā – pedagogu darba samaksas) sakārtošanu un citus jautājumus. Nav pieļaujams, ka atkārtojas tāda prakse, kādu vērojām 2016.gada budžeta izstrādes un apstiprināšanas gaitā, kad nodokļu izmaiņas kalpoja tikai vienam mērķim – savākt valsts makā iespējami daudz naudas –, pilnībā aizmirstot, ka nodokļu politika nosaka arī tautsaimniecības attīstību. Mēs kārtējo reizi pārliecinājāmies, ka, izstrādājot 2016.gada budžetu, lēmumi par naudas piešķiršanu atsevišķām nozarēm notika haotiski un nepārdomāti, tādējādi novedot, piemēram, pie situācijas, ka veselības jomā piešķirtos papildu līdzekļus atlīdzības pieaugumam nevarēs izmantot ģimenes ārstu atalgojuma palielināšanai. “No sirds Latvijai” uzskata, ka jauna Ministru kabineta izveide rada iespēju pārskatīt Ministru kabineta darba kārtību un Valdības deklarācijā atgriezties pie sabiedrībai nozīmīgiem jautājumiem – sociālās garantijas, veselības aprūpes pieejamība, izglītības kvalitāte, zinātnes attīstība un tiesiskas vides izveide, kas ir īpaši nozīmīga uzņēmējdarbības attīstībai Latvijā. Diemžēl jāsecina, ka līdzšinējais Ministru prezidenta izraudzīšanās process neliecina par valdošo partiju vēlmi risināt Latvijai akūtus un svarīgus jautājumus. Kamēr tiek bīdīti kandidāti un tiek dalīti amati, tiek atlikta daudzu būtisku jautājumu risināšana. Koalīciju veidojošās partijas arī šobrīd nevis uzsāk sarunas par veicamajiem darbiem, bet ķīvējas par iespējamo amatu un ietekmes sfēru sadalīšanu. Ir tikai ērts varas un valsts finanšu resursu sadalījums, un tas ir līdz šim tik labi strādājis, ka nav vajadzības veidot plašāku koalīciju un stiprināt demokrātijas principus Latvijā. Par to varēja pārliecināties arī šodien, kad Saeimas sēdē otrajā lasījumā izskatīja grozījumus Saeimas vēlēšanu likumā un Eiropas Parlamenta vēlēšanu likumā, kurus iesniedza valdošās koalīcijas deputāti. Tie paredz mehāniski palielināt partiju biedru skaitu no 200 uz 500, lai būtu iespēja piedalīties vēlēšanās. “No sirds Latvijai” jau iepriekš un arī šodien balsoja “pret” tik liela skaita noteikšanu, jo mēs uzskatām, ka tieši šādā veidā valstī tiek mazināta demokrātija, tiek liegta cilvēkiem iespēja piedalīties politiskajos procesos un lēmumu pieņemšanā.
