Šodien bija ļoti daudz nozīmīgu likumprojektu, un kā galveno es gribētu izcelt “Grozījumus Enerģētikas likumā”. Proti, jautājumu par gāzes tirgus atvēršanu. Nav noslēpums, ka “Latvijas Gāze” arī ir ieguvusi ļoti spēcīgus darbiniekus, pārvilinot no valsts sektora atbildīgākos ierēdņus. Līdz ar to šis darbs rit diezgan smagnēji. Tādēļ šodien lielākās debates bija par priekšlikumu, kas komisijā šķita absolūti nevainīgs; priekšlikumu, par kuru arī Ekonomikas ministrija teica – varam darīt tā vai šā, bet principā atbalstām. Protams, “Latvijas Gāze” to atbalstīja. Attieksme dažādu ekspertu vērtējumā nebija viennozīmīga, taču komisijā tas tika atbalstīts. Konkrēti runa ir par to, kā mēs sadalām “Latvijas Gāzi”. Respektīvi, izvēloties citu sadales modeli, likumprojektā būtu jāietver un jāizstrādā pilnīgi cits regulējums attiecībā uz kontroli pār šo procesu un citas lietas. Tas nozīmētu kārtējo reizi ievilkt šo likumprojektu ļoti ilgās diskusijās, entajos priekšlikumos un tas, protams, paildzinātu gāzes tirgus atvēršanas procesu. Kolēģiem es teicu – mums jāapzinās, ka gāzes tirgus atvēršana ir Latvijas valstij ļoti nozīmīgs jautājums un tas faktiski ir mūsu nacionālās un ekonomiskās drošības, kā arī valsts neatkarības jautājums. Varam paskatīties, kā tas ir Ukrainā, kā izmanto šo gāzes sviru. Iespējams, tas pat ir ģeopolitisks jautājums. Un ir jāsaprot, ka šis ir ārkārtīgi sarežģīts likumprojekts, un tieši šis gadījums, kā tas ir šodien, pierāda, ka pat sīkākā nianse var nemanot radikāli izmainīt pilnīgi visu. Tādēļ es arī aicināju turēt stingru pozīciju, neļauties “Latvijas Gāzes” un Gazprom spiedienam. Tas ir kritiski svarīgi, lai jebkuri grozījumi turpmāk (jo vēl ir trešais lasījums priekšā) Latvijas valdības apstiprinātajā pozīcijā tiktu diskutēti, klātesot ekonomikas ministrei personīgi. Jo tikai tā Ekonomikas ministrija var likt galvu ķīlā, ka viss pieņemtais simtprocentīgi ir Latvijas valsts nacionālajās interesēs, jo katra nianse, kurai mēs ejam cauri, var izrādīties izšķiroša. Paldies šodien deputātu vairākumam, kas balsoja saprātīgi, noraidīja šo priekšlikumu un sekoja tam, lai šis likumprojekts būtu balstīts Latvijas nacionālajās interesēs.
