Trešajā lasījumā apstiprināts likumprojekts “Grozījumi Civilprocesa likumā”, kas ietver ar valsts nodrošināto juridisko palīdzību saistītus grozījumus, iekļaujot un definējot jaunu, ar lietas vešanu saistītu izdevumu veidu, nosakot valsts nodrošinātās juridiskās palīdzības izdevumu piedziņas nosacījumus un kārtību, kā arī kārtību, kādā notiks valsts nodrošinātās juridiskās palīdzības izdevumu atlīdzināšanas process. Šodien turpinājām darbu pie Latvijas iekšpolitikai un ārpolitikai būtiskā Starptautisko un Latvijas Republikas nacionālo sankciju likuma, kas paredz iespēju noteikt nacionālās sankcijas, tādā veidā sniedzot Latvijai savu, tā teikt, maigās varas instrumentu, kā arī iespēju nacionālā līmenī cīnīties un nodrošināt valsts aizsardzību pret dažāda veida agresiju. Rietumu telpā, arī Latvijā, ir nepieciešamība ierobežot propagandu jeb “piegriezt skābekli” propagandas ruporiem un šo ruporu saimniekiem, darbojoties pie jaunām iestrādēm likumos un kompleksi piemērojot ierobežojumus propagandas izplatītājiem un tās autoriem. Tā sauktā Mogerīni darba grupa strādā pie atbildes un ierobežojoša mehānisma izstrādes Eiropas Savienības līmenī, lai spētu cīnīties pret Krievijas izplatīto dezinformāciju, kas vērsta gan uz iekšējo, gan starptautisko auditoriju. Mūsu kaimiņvalsts Lietuvas drošības iestādes konstatējušas, ka Krievija Lietuvā ir izveidojusi veselu propagandas institūtu, kas tiek finansēts, pārkāpjot valsts likumus, un izveidojusi daudzas dažādas institūcijas, ar kuru starpniecību pa dažādiem kanāliem tiek izplatīta Lietuvas valsti apdraudoša propaganda. Lietuvā jau ir likumā iestrādātas nopietnas finansiālas sankcijas, lai cīnītos pret propagandas izplatību. Augsti vērtētās domnīcas “Atlantijas padome” eksperti ir norādījuši: lai efektīvi cīnītos pret arvien pieaugošo un nospiedošo propagandas ietekmi uz Rietumvalstīm, pret to ir jācīnās ar līdz šim ietekmīgāko līdzekli – sankcijām. Iniciatīva izveidot šo likumu – Starptautisko un Latvijas Republikas nacionālo sankciju likumu – ir apsveicama un atbalstāma, taču uzskatām, ka šajā likumprojektā ir veicami daži būtiski uzlabojumi. Nepieciešams kā vienu no institūcijām, kuras var rosināt un noteikt sankcijas, likumā iekļaut arī Latvijas Republikas Saeimu, kas tiešā veidā pārstāv valsts iedzīvotāju intereses un viedokli, kā arī iekļaut normas par propagandas ierobežošanu un propagandas izplatītājus un autorus noteikt kā potenciālo sankciju subjektus. Tādā veidā Latvijai tiks sniegta ne vien iespēja efektīvāk aizsargāt savu informatīvo telpu, bet arī mehānisms, lai atturētu un ierobežotu potenciālos propagandas ruporus. Šī Saeimas sēde bija kārtējā sēde, taču tā tomēr bija arī citādāka. Dažādu iekšpolitisko norišu un mazāku vai lielāku skandālu dēļ ir atkāpusies premjerministre Laimdota Straujuma. Kā jau vairākkārt Nacionālā apvienība ir uzsvērusi, mēs neredzējām – un joprojām neredzam! – reālu iemeslu valdības maiņai un uzskatījām, ka tai jāturpina iesāktie darbi. Taču ar nožēlu jāsecina, ka premjeres pašas partija noveda viņu līdz demisijai un valdību – līdz krišanai.
