Nacionālā apvienība šodien atbalstīja lēmumu airBaltic attīstības nodrošināšanai palielināt noteikto apropriāciju Satiksmes ministrijai līdz 80 miljoniem eiro. Pirms šī lēmuma pieņemšanas Nacionālās apvienības frakcijā notika diskusija, jo visiem frakcijas locekļiem, tostarp arī man, nebija pārliecības, vai valdības piedāvātās airBaltic līguma izmaiņas patiešām garantēs, ka Latvijas nacionālā lidsabiedrība nākotnē neiegādāsies Krievijas Sukhoi Superjet lidmašīnas, uz kuru iegādi līdz pēdējam laikam uzstāja potenciālais investors. Šādu bažu pamatā bija fakts, ka 2014.gadā Eiropas Savienības ieviestās sankcijas pret Krievijas apvienoto aviobūves korporāciju, kurā ietilpst Sukhoi uzņēmumi, neattiecas uz tādiem šo uzņēmumu projektiem, kas nav saistīti ar militāro jomu, arī uz Superjet projektu Eiropas Savienības sankcijas nav attiecināmas. Lai nodrošinātos pret Superjet iegādi airBaltic vajadzībām, Nacionālā apvienība rosināja papildināt valdības piedāvāto tekstu airBaltic līgumā tā, lai aizliegums attiektos uz visiem uzņēmumiem, kas tieši vai netieši saistīti ar Krievijas militāri rūpniecisko kompleksu. Formulējot tekstu šādā redakcijā, Nacionālā apvienība uzskatīja, ka ir izslēgta iespēja iegādāties Krievijas Sukhoi Superjet lidmašīnas. Nacionālā apvienība arī uzskata, ka aizliegums airBaltic iegādāties un izmantot Krievijas militāri rūpnieciskā kompleksa un ar to saistīto uzņēmumu produkciju var palikt spēkā arī gadījumā, ja starptautiskās sankcijas pret Krieviju tiktu atceltas. Šādā gadījumā aizlieguma tiesisko regulējumu noteiktu Latvijas nacionālo sankciju likums. Tā kā Nacionālās apvienības deputātu balsojums šajā jautājumā nebija vienots, vēlos norādīt, ka es neatbalstīju valsts naudas piešķiršanu airBaltic, jo, manuprāt, arī uzlabotais airBaltic līguma teksts tomēr pilnībā negarantē, ka nākotnē uzņēmums nevarēs iepirkt Krievijas lidmašīnas. Ir pilnīgi nepieļaujami, ka tāds stratēģiskas nozīmes uzņēmums kā Latvijas nacionālā lidsabiedrība airBaltic kļūtu atkarīgs no Krievijas tehniskā nodrošinājuma. Mēs labi zinām, kā Krievija izmanto šādu atkarību, sevišķi mūsdienu ģeopolitiskajā situācijā. Paldies.".
