Tāpēc man nav saprotams, pēc kādiem principiem Izglītības un zinātnes ministrija, kuras paspārnē atrodas Murjāņu sporta ģimnāzija, plāno šai iestādei budžetu 2016.gadam tā, ka tajā nav paredzēti izdevumi ģimnāzijas audzēkņu dalībai starptautiskās sporta sacensībās. Ģimnāzijas nolikumā par noteiktajiem un izvirzītajiem darbības mērķiem ir rakstīts - gatavot augstas klases sportistus, kandidātus Latvijas nacionālajām izlasēm, startiem olimpiskajās spēlēs, pasaules, Eiropas čempionātos, kā arī veicināt augstu sportisko rezultātu sasniegšanu olimpiskajos sporta veidos. Neloģisks šķiet arī fakts, ka 2015.gadā Murjāņu sporta ģimnāzijā ir uzsākti vērienīgi sporta manēžas, internāta, skolas un viesnīcas fasādes renovācijas darbi gandrīz 3 miljonu eiro apmērā, bet dalībai sporta sacensībās 2016.gadā pietrūkst 185 tūkstoši 380 eiro. Rodas jautājums: vai mēs būvējam būvēšanas pēc vai arī tādēļ, lai, uzkrājot sacensību pieredzi jaunajās, renovētajās telpās, labākos treniņu un sadzīves apstākļos, tiektos uz augstākiem sporta sasniegumiem? Šis precīzais skaitlis - 185 tūkstoši 380 eiro - nav manis izdomāts, bet ar Murjāņu sporta ģimnāzijas treneru tāmēm pamatots. Paldies maniem kolēģiem, kuri atbalstīja šī priekšlikuma tālāku virzību. Cerībā, ka Izglītības un zinātnes ministrija nākotnē sacensību izdevumus iekļaus pamatbudžeta paketē, lūdzu Saeimas deputātus balsot “par” šo priekšlikumu, tādējādi nodrošinot mūsu jauno atlētu dalību sporta sacensībās 2016.gadā.
