Valdība tika atbalstījusi Veselības ministrijas ierosinājumu piešķirt papildu 10 miljonus eiro mediķu atalgojumam. Es gribu pateikt sirsnīgu paldies premjerministrei Straujumas kundzei un finanšu ministram Reira kungam par atbalstu šajā jautājumā. Un šonedēļ Saeimas Budžeta un finanšu (nodokļu) komisija ir šo priekšlikumu atbalstījusi, un es ceru, ka nākampirmdien deputāti arī attiecīgi nobalsos par to. Ir ļoti svarīgi, ka šī nauda nav iedota vienkārši veselības nozarei; tā tiks iedota ar ierakstu budžeta likumā par to, ka tā ir novirzāma tikai mediķu atalgojuma palielināšanai, un tieši šis apstāklis, manuprāt, bija tas pamats, uz kura mums vakardien izdevās veiksmīgi novest līdz galam sarunas ar mediķu arodbiedrību. Vakardienas sarunas ar Kera kunga vadīto arodbiedrību ilga gandrīz divas stundas ļoti konstruktīvā gaisotnē, un tās beidzās ar to, ka mēs parakstījām attiecīgu dokumentu, un rezultāts būs tas, ka mediķu streika nebūs. Mēs vienojāmies par to, ka tiks izveidota darba grupa, kopīga ar arodbiedrību, Veselības ministriju. Mēs sistēmiski izvērtēsim mediķu atalgojumu regulējošos normatīvos aktus un nāksim ar konkrētiem, ļoti pamatotiem priekšlikumiem valdībai, lai tālākā nākotnē, izvērtējot budžeta iespējas, gādātu par to, lai mediķu atalgojums pieaugtu. Un otra labā ziņa, kas noteikti ir pieminēšanas vērta, ir tā, ka Saeima pirmdien balsos par to, ka veselības aprūpes jomai ir piešķirami papildu līdzekļi – 4,23 miljoni – C hepatīta, HIV un AIDS ārstēšanai domātiem valsts kompensējamiem medikamentiem. No tiem C hepatīta ārstēšanai papildus ir 3,5 miljoni. Tas tātad nozīmē, ka nākošgad valsts kompensēs medikamentus C hepatīta ārstēšanai 6,5 miljonu eiro apmērā. Un tā īpaši labā ziņa ir ne tikai tā, ka tātad mums ir papildu finansējums šīm zālēm; mēs esam pieņēmuši Veselības ministrijā lēmumu, ka mēs kompensēsim C hepatītam paredzētos medikamentus simtprocentīgā apmērā. Un būs pieejama tā terapija, kas līdz šim; tur pacientiem bija līdzmaksājums – 25 procenti. Šī terapija bija efektīva tikai apmēram 60 procentos gadījumu. Mūsu valstī ir vairāk nekā 3 tūkstoši pacientu, kuri ir tikuši ārstēti ar šīm zālēm (valsts ir iztērējusi naudu, cilvēki ir piemaksājuši savus 25 procentus, kas gadā sastādīja apmēram 2 tūkstošus eiro), un kuriem šī terapija nav bijusi efektīva. Tātad mūsu valstī no 1.janvāra būs pieejamas šiem pacientiem zāles, kas ļoti dārgi maksā: zāļu ražotāja cena – 40 tūkstoši eiro par vienu ārstniecības kursu. Tātad mēs ārstēsim mūsu pacientus arī ar šīm dārgajām zālēm, un mūsu pieeja būs tāda, ka mēs sev nospraudīsim mērķi izārstēt maksimāli lielu, iespējami lielu skaitu pacientu. Mēs domājam, ka 2016.gadā mēs pilnībā izārstēsim nedaudz vairāk par 900 pacientiem. Tā labā ziņa tātad ir tā, ka gan līdzšinējos lietotos medikamentus, gan šo ārkārtīgi dārgo jauno terapiju valsts kompensēs simtprocentīgā apmērā. Un to, kuram kāda terapija būs pieejama, izlems ārstu konsīlijs atkarībā no vīrusa genotipa un atkarībā no pacienta slimības stadijas. Paldies.".
