Šodien Saeimas sēde nebija gara, bet tā bija ļoti nozīmīga man ne tikai kā Saeimas deputātam, bet arī kā veselības ministram. Saeima šodien nobalsoja par papildu budžeta dotāciju veselības aprūpei šogad, šim gadam, 5,7 miljonu eiro apmērā. Un šī ir nauda, ko man izdevās kā veselības ministram izcīnīt no tiem līdzekļiem, kas palika pāri Latvijai pēc prezidentūras Eiropas Savienībā. Tātad palika pāri 13 miljoni eiro. Vesela virkne ministriju bija dzīvojušas taupīgi... ar prezidentūras līdzekļiem apgājušās taupīgi. Arī Veselības ministrija 24 procentus līdzekļu nebija izlietojusi, un tie līdzekļi no visām ministrijām tika atdoti atpakaļ. Kopā no prezidentūras bija palikuši pāri 13 miljoni eiro, un no šiem 13 miljoniem tātad valdība lēma 5,7 miljonus piešķirt veselības jomai, un Saeima to tikko apstiprināja. Kam tiks izlietoti šie līdzekļi? Šie līdzekļi tiks izlietoti valsts galvoto aizdevumu atmaksai šogad – tik, cik šogad vēl slimnīcas nav paguvušas samaksāt kredītprocentus un kredīta pamatsummas, jo šogad ir pirmais gads, kad ir jāveic šī atmaksa. Un tikai trīs lielās universitātes slimnīcas – Bērnu slimnīca, Austrumu slimnīca un Stradiņa slimnīca... šā gada nogalē šīm trim slimnīcām ir jāveic atmaksa 5 miljonu eiro apmērā. Un atlikusī nauda ir tātad gan Gintermuižai (psihoneiroloģiskajai slimnīcai Jelgavā), gan vēl dažām slimnīcām. Šie līdzekļi mūsu slimnīcām ir ļoti nepieciešami. Slimnīcas šos līdzekļus bija rezervējušas, bet tagad šī nauda, tātad rezervētā nauda, varēs tikt izmantota slimnīcas funkciju veikšanai, pamatfunkciju veikšanai, un mums pacienti nebūs “jādzen dziļāk” maksas sektorā. Tātad šī bija tāda tiešām nozīmīga diena. Un nobeigumā es vēl gribu pateikt, ka arī attiecībā uz nākamā gada budžetu mēs neesam rokas nolaiduši, mēs esam... Tātad Veselības ministrija ir iesniegusi Finanšu ministrijai, un nākamās nedēļas sākumā ies uz valdības sēdi... Mēs prasām 10 miljonus eiro papildus nākamā gada budžetam. Šie 5,7 bija papildu dotācija tekošā gada budžetam. Nākamā gada budžetā papildu 10 miljonus eiro medicīnas darbinieku, mediķu algām, un man ir pārliecība, ka mēs šos līdzekļus dabūsim. Straujumas kundze ir to atbalstījusi, un šis jautājums ir saskaņots arī ar Finanšu ministriju. Jā, tā ka es raugos ļoti cerīgi, un es... Šie abi gadījumi faktiski tikai parāda, cik nozīmīgi ir saglabāt abus amatus – būt gan par veselības ministru, gan par Saeimas deputātu. Tas palīdz piesaistīt papildu līdzekļus veselības nozarei.
