Daudz diskutētais jautājums par atbildīgo nosaukšanu Latvijas Reģionu apvienībā diskusijas neraisa, jo mēs visi esam pārliecināti, ka tādiem ir jābūt. Mēs principā iestājamies par augstāku atbildības latiņas pacelšanu, jo līdz šim šī atbildība bijusi visādi staipīta un nekad tā nav skārusi kādas konkrētas personas. Tāda kolektīvā atbildība patiesībā nekad nav bijusi atbildība. Neskatoties uz to, ka daži cilvēki no nosauktajiem ir atzinuši savu atbildību, neskatoties uz to, daži vēl līdz šim brīdim nesaprot, kas noticis, un visādi izlokās no tās. Un tā atklātība, kas valdīja šīs komisijas sēdēs... var tikai teikt, ka šādu komisiju darbībā, iespējams, ir sākusies jauna ēra, un gribētos Latvijas Reģionu apvienības vārdā pateikt paldies visiem, kas tajā darbā iesaistījās. Gan tiem, kas bija pozīcijā, gan opozīcijā, un galvenokārt tiem ekspertiem, kas veltīja savu laiku. Tāpat gribētu teikt, ka daži vēl šodien no Saeimas tribīnes kā tādi zuši locījās, sakot, ka tā atklātība nepatīk, ka tur ne tajos portālos kaut kas tiek minēts un ka tie cilvēki nav tie īstie. Patiesībā jau to novērtēs laiks, un, es ceru, ka šobrīd tik zemu esošais Saeimas reitings, kas ir noslīdējis jau līdz 18 procentiem, šādas komisiju darbības rezultātā varbūt kādreiz atjaunosies. Un vēl gribu pieminēt to, ka arī... varbūt attiecībā uz atbildību... Latvijas Reģionu apvienība ir iesniegusi... Valsts prezidentam ir nosūtījusi lūgumu atgriezt Saeimā atkārtotai izskatīšanai “Grozījumus Elektronisko plašsaziņas līdzekļu likumā”, jo mums ir bažas, ka, stājoties spēkā, šie likuma grozījumi būtiski ietekmēs latviešu valodas lietojuma sadalījumu un samazinājumu radiostacijās. Un tas, mūsuprāt, ir arī valsts drošības jautājums, kuram mēs pievērsīsim lielu uzmanību. Paldies!".
