Un šeit mēs vērojam, cik brīvi mēs varam būt no dažādām blakus ietekmēm - no politiskajiem vējiem, no citādas konjunktūras. Es biju viens no tiem, kuri pamatīgi izlasīja šo ziņojumu - ar piezīmēm, ar jautājumiem. Un, protams, jautājums pēc tam: ko ar to tālāk darīt? Vai tas tā, ar vienu politisko izrādi, beigsies, vai mēs spēsim no tā... spēsim to pielietot arī, teiksim, pozitīviem uzlabojumiem? Manā skatījumā, komisija šeit ir ņēmusi ļoti plaši un dziļi... sniegusi vērtīgas atziņas, kuras būtu svarīgi izmantot. Vienlaikus šeit, šajā ziņojumā, ir saskatāma tomēr arī neviengabalainība un nekonsekvence. Teiksim, ir trīs lielas sadaļas: viena ir vainīgo meklēšana, otra ir likumu nepilnības, un trešā ir ļoti iespaidīgs vispārmorālais vērtējums pašās beigās. Daudz uzdevumu ir dots Tautsaimniecības, agrārās, vides un reģionālās politikas komisijai. Taču es iedomājos - tagad tā lielā atbildības un uzmanības nasta... Lai to visu īstenotu dzīvē un ieliktu likumos, būtu svarīgi nesarežģīt birokrātiju, jo šajā gadījumā mēs redzam, ka varbūt problēma ir tā, ka nepieciešams nevis sarežģīt likumus, bet gan vienkāršot tos. Negatīvie aspekti. Manuprāt, tomēr... Šeit jau daudz runāja par to vainīgo meklēšanu. Es neattaisnošu šos septiņus, bet liela nekonsekvence tur ir vērojama. Nu, kāpēc varbūt ne Latvijas Pašvaldību savienība, kuras loma tur ir parādīta diezgan negatīvi, kāpēc ne visi tie Saeimas deputāti, kuri galu galā toreiz nobalsoja par šīm izmaiņām likumā, un arī tie, kuri nebalsoja... Kāpēc atturējās? Un kāpēc arī nākamā Saeima ātrāk nelaboja tos likumus? Un Valsts prezidents galu galā izsludināja tādu likumu. Nu, šeit nedaudz atpērkamies, tos septiņus pagrūžot. Par atklātību runāja šeit jau vairāki komisijas deputāti. Jā, atklātība ir vajadzīga. Taču šeit ir tā riska trauslā robeža - padarīt to par izrādi. Un komisija atsaucas uz viena komisijas deputāta personīgajiem blogiem, cik ļoti tas ticis skatīts. Manuprāt, tas šī ziņojuma prestižam nenāk par labu - sasaistīšana ar personīgiem interneta blogiem.
