Palielināsies finansējums arī pašvaldībām. Tie ir 92 miljoni eiro, kas papildus nonāks pašvaldību budžetos. Ja mēs skatāmies relatīvi un iedomājamies, ka viss Latvijas valsts budžets ir viens eiro, tad 36 eirocenti aiziet sociālajai aizsardzībai – pensijām un pabalstiem; 17 eirocenti aiziet dotācijām pašvaldībām; 9,7 eirocenti ir paredzēti izglītībai, zinātnei, sportam un kultūrai, tātad desmitā daļa; 9,2 eirocenti – desmitā daļa – ir izdevumi veselībai; 7,7 eirocenti – valsts parāda apkalpošanai; 5,7 eirocenti – ekonomiskajai darbībai (satiksme, lauksaimniecība un citas nozares); 5,4 eirocenti ir sabiedriskajai drošībai un kārtībai, un arī aizsardzībai ir finansējuma pieaugums, un šobrīd tie ir 3 eirocenti no katra eiro, kas ir budžetā; 1,4 eirocenti no eiro ir izdevumi, lai uzturētu Valsts prezidenta, Saeimas, Ministru kabineta, ministriju darbību – tātad valsts aparātu; vides aizsardzībai mēs tērēsim 0,7 eirocentus, un pārējie izdevumi sastāda 3,7 eirocentus. Tāpat arī iepriekšējais runātājs no Nacionālās apvienības uzsvēra grozījumus Krimināllikumā. Manuprāt, mēs ļoti daudz enerģijas tērējam, runājot par bēgļiem, kuri varētu nākt no Vidusjūras un kuri šobrīd ir Vidusjūras valstīs nokļuvuši, un tas ir ļoti liels skaitlis, bet mēs nepievēršam pienācīgu uzmanību mūsu valsts austrumu robežai. Es varu teikt, ka drīz mēs piedzīvosim – pavisam drīz! – situāciju, ka vjetnamiešu vai afgāņu bēgļu, kas šeit nonāk pāri mūsu valsts robežai, drīz būs vairāk par tiem, par kuriem ir tik asas debates bijušas un kuri nāk no Vidusjūras.
