Tātad tā ir stratēģija, un tātad ir jautājums par to, ko mēs gribam stratēģiski sasniegt, nevis taktiski, ejot soli pa solim turp un atpakaļ, aplinkus varbūt kādā veidā vienojoties par kādu citu jautājumu, lai to sasniegtu ātrākā veidā. Līdz ar to, protams, es saprotu, ka opozīcijai ir jānorāda uz kļūdām stratēģisko mērķu sasniegšanai, un šajā ziņā paldies Kučinska kungam no Ilgtspējīgas attīstības komisijas par to, kādā veidā tika norādīts uz to, kas ir sasniegts. Paldies arī Cilinska kungam par šiem indikatīvajiem rādītājiem, kas, iespējams, būtu varbūt jāpārskata un kas varbūt bija pārāk... tātad negatīvi skatīti. Bet šajā situācijā, ja mēs runājam par stratēģiju, tad paldies Ādamsona kungam par atgādinājumu, kas, manuprāt, bija mazliet kļūdains... par to, ka mēs it kā vienkārši izpildām direktīvas. Nē, mēs neizpildām tikai direktīvas, bet mēs esam eiroatlantiskās telpas ļoti pamatoti locekļi jau pēdējos 10 gadus. Līdz ar to šī stratēģija, ko šeit pat, Saeimā, mūsu priekšteči pieņēma 1995.gadā, noslēdzot asociācijas līgumu, iestājoties Eiropas Savienībā un vēlāk... 10 gadus vēlāk arī NATO, ir bijusi pareiza. Un šajā situācijā - tas, ko mana kolēģe, Čigānes kundze, jau teica, - “nolikt” valsti ir visvienkāršākais, bet, domājot par to, kā sadarboties un kā sasniegt šos stratēģiskos mērķus līdz tam 2020. ... līdz tam 2030.gadam, mums tas būtu jāveic un jāstrādā mūsu valsts - Latvijas - labā.
