Protams, arī es nevaru nepateikt dažus vārdus par ziņojumu par Latvijas ilgtspējīgas attīstības stratēģijas un Valdības deklarācijas īstenošanu. Un ir jāpiekrīt tam vērtējumam, ka Straujumas kundzes uzstāšanās viesa tādu piesardzīgu optimismu par Latvijas turpmāko attīstību. Aug valsts konkurētspēja. Tā aug lēni, bet ļoti, ļoti noteikti. Un tas tātad liecina par to, ka mūs negaida nekāda ekonomikas pārkaršana, ka mūs gaida lēns, pacietīgs augšupejas periods. Un tas viss ir jāskata arī tajā kontekstā... saistībā ar to situāciju, kāda veidojas šobrīd – šajā Eiropas reģionā (atkal jāsauc šis vārds, jāsaka – “reģionā”). Varbūt kādreiz mēs cerējām, ka īsi un ātri varēs beigties viss šis sankciju karš ar Krieviju un ka atjaunosies varbūt mūsu eksports uz Krieviju. Nē, acīmredzot šis sankciju karš nebeigsies tik drīz. Latvija ir spējusi jau šī un pagājušā gada laikā tomēr visai ievērojami pārkārtot savas eksporta plūsmas un šo uz Krieviju vērsto eksporta plūsmu ievērojamo samazinājumu kompensējusi ar eksportu uz Eiropas Savienību un arī citām valstīm – uz citām valstīm pat ievērojamāk nekā uz Eiropas Savienību. Līdz ar to var teikt, ka Latvija ir uz pareizā ceļa, un mums pacietīgi, lēni ir jāturpina ceļš, lai noķertu, teiksim tā, Eiropas kaut vai vidējo rādītāju, kurš mums tuvojas, nevis attālinās. Un tā ir tā labā ziņa. Runājot par patvēruma meklētāju jautājumu, kurš joprojām ir ļoti aktuāls, jāteic, ka vakar arī man bija tā iespēja iztaujāt Iekšlietu ministrijas valsts sekretāra vietnieci Pētersoni-Godmani un redzēt šo patvēruma meklētāju uzņemšanas plānu, kurš zināmā mērā šokē sabiedrību ar ļoti lielu skaitli: 16 miljoni... Latvijai jābūt tam gatavai, un tas ir tikai prātīgi – iedarbināt un nolikt, teiksim, uz pareizām sliedēm pašu sistēmu. Tātad šajos 16 miljonos ir... Es teiktu tā – vismaz puse šīs naudiņas tiks tērēta būtībā investīcijās, sistēmas izveidei, un šī sistēma darbosies ne tikai ar šiem 500 – nedaudz vairāk kā 500 – bēgļiem, bet arī vēl tālākā nākotnē – pēc gadiem pieciem, sešiem, septiņiem. Es neticu, ka īslaicīgās patvēruma meklētāju uzturēšanās punkts “Mucenieki” būtu mums neaktuāls. Es domāju, ka būs aktuāls. Šīs kapacitātes celšana un centra labiekārtošana, kā arī moderno tehnoloģiju, teiksim, piesaiste informācijas vākšanai par konkrētiem bēgļiem – tas viss ir vajadzīgs un būs vajadzīgs arī tad, kad mēs būsim, teiksim tā, palaiduši savā dzīvē šos 530 bēgļus. Līdz ar to šis dalījums – 30 tūkstoši uz vienu bēgļi, vienu galviņu, – ir pilnīgi nepareizs un, šādi rēķinot, mēs būtībā radām zināmu mulsumu. Runājot par trešo šodien Saeimas sēdē varbūt tādu visdiskutablāko jautājumu, tātad par deputātu algām, es teikšu, ka tomēr mēs visu laiku it kā paģēram, ka deputātiem vienmēr ir jālasa šis uzraksts “Viens likums – viena taisnība visiem”. Latvijā ir likums – Valsts un pašvaldību institūciju amatpersonu un darbinieku atlīdzības likums –, kurā noteikts, ka visu šo valsts un pašvaldību institūciju amatpersonu alga ir sasaistīta ar aizpagājušā gada vidējo tautsaimniecībā izmaksāto algu līmeni. Tas atbrīvo deputātus no, manuprāt, tāda visai pazemojoša akta kā balsošana un lemšana par savu algu. Alga valstī ir pieaugusi, un automātiski palielinās arī deputātu algas. Atgādināšu, ka savulaik, jau krīzes laikos, deputātu algas tika, kā saka, uz diviem gadiem iesaldētas un sanāca apmēram tā kā tajā gadījumā ar kaķi: ja jums izbeidzas kaķa barība ledusskapī, jūs izdomājat – kaķi ieliksim saldētavā, lai viņš pagaida, kamēr aiziesim uz veikalu un atnesīsim viņam barību. Nu, kad barība nopirkta, izņem kaķi no saldētavas – vairs neņaud, beigts un pagalam! Un šeit tāpat ar šo iesaldēšanu sanāca: pēc diviem gadiem bija pilnībā jāmaina visa deputātu atalgojuma sistēma, jo atgriezties atpakaļ pie esošās bija praktiski neiespējami, jo šis pieauguma skaitlis bija ļoti, ļoti mulsinošs. Un, ja arī šobrīd apturētu, teiksim, šo algu pieaugumu uz vienu gadu, nākošajā gadā mēs pilnīgi noteikti atgrieztos pie daudz karstākām debatēm, jo... Es ticu... vēl jo vairāk tagad, kad noklausījos Straujumas ziņojumu šodien, es ļoti ticu, ka algu līmenis Latvijā būtu cēlies vēl un ka līdz ar to būtu daudz karstākas debates, jo šis algas pielikums deputātiem sanāktu teorētiski daudz lielāks. Ja Mūrnieces kundzei bija tāda vēlme samazināt deputātu algas, tātad, ja viņa uzskatīja, ka deputātiem jāsaņem mazāk, bija ļoti vienkāršs variants – samazināt šo koeficientu, ar kuru tad jāreizina vidējās algas lielums, lai iegūtu deputāta algu. Nebūtu 3,2, bet būtu, teiksim, 3,1... Un tad viss būtu kārtībā – nebūtu izkropļots likums, un būtu panākts arī, teiksim, sirdsapziņas princips, kuru Mūrnieces kundze minēja.
