Šeit ir radusies kaut kāda pretruna ar šo likumprojektu, jo mēs tikko dzirdējām, ka Ārlietu komisijas priekšsēdētājs solīja, ka pēc likuma pieņemšanas būšot fonds. Tātad tāds fonds, kāds ir Lietuvā, - kuru stingri kontrolē Finanšu ministrija un kurš pārbauda, kā tiek izlietoti īpašumi, un šos īpašumus nedrīkst tirgot, atsavināt, dāvināt un tā tālāk, jo tiem ir jākalpo vispārējam labumam. Es savā laikā biju viens no tiem, kas balsoja “par” šī īpašuma nodošanu tieši ebreju kopienai, un minētie apgrūtinājumi tika ielikti tieši tāda iemesla dēļ, lai nerodas kārdinājums īpašumu vai nu ieķīlāt, vai pārdot, vai... Tad gan vēl nebija tādas kopienas, kāda ir tagad izveidojusies, - Ebreju kopienu padomes, bet kaut kur zemapziņā jau radās doma, ka īpašums nākotnē varētu nonākt vienas grupas rokās un varētu notikt kaut kādas nelikumīgas darbības ar šo īpašumu. Tātad - kāpēc ir jānoņem apgrūtinājums? Ļoti vienkārši - lai īpašumu varētu vai nu pārdot, vai dāvināt, ieķīlāt... vārdu sakot, lai varētu taisīt rebes. Kas pārdos? Vai tad pārdos ebreji vai viena vai otra organizācija? Tagad var dažādas organizācijas pārdot šo īpašumu. Nē! Pārdos tas, kam ir šīs paraksta tiesības. Un kam tad ir paraksta tiesības? Paraksta tiesības ir kopienas priekšsēdētājam Suharenko kungam. Vai no tā tiks kāds labums citām ebreju organizācijām? Kā jau es teicu, piemēram, Geto muzejam vai biedrībai “Šamir”? Protams, ka netiks! Jo citas ebreju organizācijas nav šīs attiecīgās organizācijas biedri. Vai mēs varam uzticēt cilvēkam, kam ir paraksta tiesības, kaut kādā veidā tirgot šos īpašumus - konkrēti Suharenko kungam? Tā ir ļoti interesanta personība. Viņš nav uzskatījis par vajadzīgu iemācīties vai runāt latviski šeit. Ieradies no bijušās Padomju Savienības, šis kungs izceļas ar apbrīnojamu bezkaunību. Mēs viņu varētu nosaukt par padomju okupantu līdzskrējēju. Kāpēc? Tāpēc, ka šeit man ir vēstule, ko minētais kungs ir sūtījis Latvijas prezidentam Bērziņam. Un viņš raksta, ka ir ārkārtīgi neglīts piemineklis uzcelts Bauskas aizstāvjiem. Uz pieminekļa, kā šeit fotogrāfijā var redzēt, ir rakstīts “Bauskas aizstāvjiem pret otrreizējo padomju okupāciju”. Tad nu Suharenko kungs raksta Latvijas prezidentam, ka Bauskā, lūk, ir uzcelts piemineklis, kas ir aicināts... Prizvannij geroizirovatj - aicināts slavināt - nacistiskos atbalstītājus, un man nav nekādu šaubu, kurā pusē atrodas Bauskas vadības simpātijas, kuras pozīciju mēs nosodām.” Bet tas vēl nebūtu nekas, jo katram ir tiesības izteikt savu viedokli. Taču tālāk sākas Latvijas valsts šantāža. Tātad minētais kungs šantažē un raksta atklāti: “Mēs neslēpsim šos savus secinājumus un viedokļus no starptautiskās sabiedrības un starptautiskajām ebreju organizācijām. Šāds uzraksts pret otrreizējo padomju okupāciju ir tas pats kas Judenfrei.” Tātad, redziet, skolēni, zemnieki, aizsargi - jo nebija regulārā karaspēka, kas aizstāvēja Bausku pret otrreizējo padomju okupāciju, slepkavībām, izvarošanām, izlaupīšanām, - tiek saukti par nacistu atbalstītājiem. Tātad cilvēks ar šādu domāšanu, kurš ir iesūdzēts, starp citu, tiesā par krāpniecību, visa šī organizācija... Biedrība “Šamir” ir iesūdzējusi šo Ebreju draudžu un kopienu padomi tiesā par krāpniecību, un tiesas rezultātu mēs vēl nezinām. Vai mēs varam vienai no pusēm, nezinot šo tiesas spriedumu, faktiski uzdāvināt kaut kādām finansiālām mahinācijām īpašumu, kurš ir nodots visas Latvijas ebreju lietošanā, nevis tikai šīs vienas organizācijas lietošanā? Tāpēc es domāju, ka mums vajadzētu sagaidīt tiesas spriedumu un atdot šo īpašumu tai organizācijai, kura to ir vairāk pelnījusi un kura varbūt būtu godīgāk rīkojusies ar šiem īpašumiem.
