Frakcija “No sirds Latvijai” vienmēr savos balsojumos vadās no svarīgākā uzdevuma – tas ir, vai likumprojekts ir virzīts tiešām Latvijas tautas interesēs. Un, ja arī likumprojekts kādreiz redakcionāli līdz galam nav pilnveidots, mēs saprotam, ka to var izlabot vairākos lasījumos. Galvenais ir mērķis. Šodien es paudīšu savu viedokli tikai par diviem jautājumu blokiem, par ko šodien diskutēja parlamentā. Proti, pirmais ir šis bēgļu jautājums. Lai gan to ir šobrīd apspriedušas visas politiskās partijas, sabiedrība ir ļoti saviļņota šajā jautājumā. Mēs šodien atbalstījām attiecīgos likumprojektus, lai šis jautājums tiktu atrisināts tā, kā vairums Latvijas iedzīvotāju būtu atbalstījuši. Proti, mēs uzskatām, ka, ja valdība ar šo jautājumu nav tikusi galā, tad parlamentam ir jāuzņemas lielāka atbildība, jāpārņem savā kompetencē daudzi jautājumi, lai noteiktu vadlīnijas. Un jāatzīst gan, ka šajā gadījumā mēs varam atkārtoti pārmest mūsu kolēģiem, kas ir koalīcijā, ka šis jautājums varbūt nebūtu tik aktuāls šodienas darba kārtībā, ja pavasarī Saeimas vairākums būtu atbalstījis uzdevumu Ministru prezidentam... Ministru kabinetam sniegt pārskatu par Latvijas gatavību bēgļu uzņemšanai. Iespējams, daudzi jautājumi tad būtu jau izņemti no darba kārtības. Saistībā ar šo aktuālo vairāku likumprojektu paketi šodien tika izvērtēts arī mūsu partijas piedāvātais priekšlikums – likumprojekts “Grozījumi likumā “Par tautas nobalsošanu, likumu ierosināšanu un Eiropas pilsoņu iniciatīvu”. Šis priekšlikums netika atbalstīts ar vairākuma balsīm, bet mēs ar šo likumprojektu gribējām vērst uzmanību uz to, ka plaisa starp Latvijas iedzīvotājiem un lēmumu pieņēmējiem padziļinās. 72 procenti Latvijas iedzīvotāju uzskata, ka bēgļu jautājuma sakarā mums Latvijā jāietur krietni stingrākas pozīcijas valsts suverenitātes aizsardzības jautājumā, turpretim valdības rīcība acīm redzami parāda, ka tautas viedoklis tai nav aktuāls. Mēs šajā likumprojektā bijām ierosinājuši, ka valstī varētu organizēt konsultatīvos referendumus. Proti, sarežģītos jautājumos tauta izteiktu viedokli par to, kāda būs Latvijas pozīcija. Šajā likumprojektā otrs jautājumu loks bija saistīts ar tautas tiesībām īstenot savas likumdevēja tiesības, proti, iniciēt likumprojektus, lai pēc tam balsotu kopējā referendumā. Šobrīd esošais likums paredz, ka tauta šādas tiesības var realizēt tikai tad, ja ir savākti 150 tūkstoši parakstu. Ikviens reāli domājošs Latvijas cilvēks var saprast, ka tādu skaitu balsu... parakstu nav iespējams savākt. Tas ir, likumā ir ielikta tāda norma, kas pēc būtības padara neefektīvu Satversmē ierakstīto normu. Un, kaut arī 2013.gadā un 2014.gada sākumā bija domāts, ka jaunā kārtība darbosies, reālā prakse, reālā dzīve ir pierādījusi, ka tā sistēma, kāda bija solīta likumā... bija solīts savulaik Satversmes tiesai, ka būs elementāra, vienkārša un bezmaksas iespēja parakstīties, taču reālajā dzīvē tāda iespēja nepastāv. Tas ir ļoti apgrūtinoši. Un līdz ar to mēs piedāvājam šajā likumprojektā daudzas normas, kas atvieglotu iespēju Latvijas tautai pašai iniciēt likumus un pieņemt likumus, proti, kādreiz arī atcelt kādu Saeimas pieņemtu likumu, ja tas neatbilst tautas vairākuma viedoklim. Bet diemžēl šoreiz tas neizdevās. Paldies jums par uzmanību.".
