Arī Saeimai septembris ir jauna gada sākums. Pēc vasaras, kas bija piepildīta ar visnotaļ aktīvām darbībām, atgriežamies pie konkrētu darbu pildīšanas. Izcelšu dažus no Nacionālajai apvienībai būtiskajiem jautājumiem, ko Saeima skatīja šodien. Šodien balsojumā par uzdevumu Ministru kabinetam nekavējoties sniegt Saeimai ziņojumu par bēgļu uzņemšanu Latvijā no Āfrikas un citiem bēgļu izcelsmes reģioniem Nacionālā apvienība balsojumā atturējās. Kopš 8.jūlija, kad vairāki Nacionālās apvienības frakcijas deputāti pievienoja savus parakstus šim lēmuma projektam, Ministru kabineta un Ministru prezidentes Laimdotas Straujumas komunikācija šajā jautājumā ir būtiski mainījusies. Pēc Nacionālās apvienības iniciatīvas tika organizēta tikšanās ar Ministru prezidenti, un tajā gan piedalīties, gan vērot to internetā bija iespēja jebkuram sabiedrības loceklim, kuram šī tēma šķiet uzmanības vērta. Apkopojot ne tikai Nacionālās apvienības, bet arī vairākus simtus sabiedrības iesūtīto jautājumu, tikšanās laikā Ministru prezidente sniedza atbildes uz teju 50 dažādiem jautājumiem. Būtiski gan atzīmēt, ka ne visas atbildes bija pilnvērtīgas un pamatotas. Diemžēl atbildēs nesadzirdējām to, vai ir izvērtēti visi riski, kas saistīti ar bēgļu uzņemšanu Latvijā, nedz arī to, vai tikusi kvalitatīvi izvērtēta Latvijas institūciju kapacitāte izskatīt un izvērtēt lielu skaitu patvēruma meklētāju pieteikumu. Taču jāuzsver, ka šī Ministru prezidentes iniciatīva un iesaiste ir apsveicama. Un mēs aicinām turpināt īstenot šo labo praksi un iesaistīties diskusijā ar sabiedrību arī turpmāk visa šī procesa ietvaros. Nacionālā apvienība šodien balsojumā atturējās, novērtējot Ministru prezidentes iesaistīšanos diskusijās, kā arī izvērtējot esošo situāciju un izvēloties pārorientēties no ziņojumu uzklausīšanas un teorētiskas pārspriešanas uz reālu darbību veikšanu un risinājumu meklēšanu problēmas cēloņiem. Migrācijas krīzes kontekstā Nacionālā apvienība ir izstrādājusi priekšlikumus, kurus tuvākajā laikā iesniegs Saeimā un kuri nākotnē noteiktu to, ka par patvēruma meklētāju pārvietošanu uz Latviju turpmāk būtu jālemj Saeimai, kas ir augstākā valsts lēmējinstitūcija. Šī iniciatīva darbotos kā sava veida aizsargmehānisms radītajam precedentam un par potenciāli atkārtotu patvēruma meklētāju uzņemšanu ļautu lemt Saeimai, kura tiešā veidā pārstāv sabiedrības intereses. Nākamais, kuru no Saeimas šīsdienas sēdē skatītajiem jautājumiem vēlos izcelt, ir likumprojekts “Nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma likums”. Kultūrvērtības, materiālās un nemateriālās, ir fundamentāls nāciju veidojošs faktors. Kultūru veido sabiedrība, kurā mēs dzīvojam. Tāpēc, mūsuprāt, Nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma likums ir tik būtisks. Lai nodrošinātu mūsu sabiedrības kultūras un tradīciju unikalitāti un ilgtspēju, nepieciešams nostiprināt sabiedrības, kā arī valsts un pašvaldību iestāžu atbildību par nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma saglabāšanu un ilgtspēju. Daudzas no vērtībām un tradīcijām, kas vēsturiski veidojušās Latvijā, ir unikālas un nav sastopamas nekur citur pasaulē, un ir pelnījušas savu vietu starptautiskajā UNESCO Nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma sarakstā. Un nenoliedzami aktuāls jautājums gan šodien, gan arī tuvākajā laikā būs nākamā gada nacionālais budžets. Nacionālā apvienība turpinās aizstāvēt savas izvirzītās prioritātes – atbalsts ģimenēm, kultūras nozares aizsardzība (apzinoties, ka tās kvalitatīvai pastāvēšanai katastrofāli trūkst finansējuma), vides aizsardzība un reģionālā attīstība, kā arī tieslietu sistēmas drošības uzlabošana. Kopumā uzskatu, ka šī Saeimas rudens sesija būs intensīva darba un daudzu gana smagu jautājumu un lēmumu pilna. Pēc darbīgās vasaras, kurā bija vairākas ārkārtas sēdes, apsveicu visus kolēģus Saeimā ar rudens sesijas sākšanos un novēlu apzinīgu, atbildības pilnu darba cēlienu. Paldies.".
