Es aicinu jūs atbalstīt mūsu priekšlikumu - nodot Nacionālās drošības komisijai jautājumu par Ziemeļāfrikas un Tuvo Austrumu bēgļu uzņemšanu Latvijā, jo šis pirmām kārtām ir drošības jautājums. Nacionālās drošības komisija varētu palīdzēt valdībai labot tās sekas, kuras ir radušās valdības neveiksmīgās komunikācijas dēļ. Kā jūs, kolēģi, atceraties, sākotnēji valdība runāja par to, ka Latvija vispār neuzņems bēgļus, pēc tam runāja, ka uzņems 250 bēgļus. Un tagad jau šī komunikācija ir pārvērtusies - tiek runāts par to, ka Eiropas Komisijas politika bēgļu jautājumā ir nepareiza. Visa tā rezultāts ir tas, ka socioloģija rāda, ka lielākā daļa Latvijas iedzīvotāju ir pret bēgļu uzņemšanu un ka vairums Latvijas iedzīvotāju netic, ka valdība bēgļu jautājumu spēj risināt. Nododot šo jautājumu Nacionālās drošības komisijai, mēs varētu sagaidīt vismaz līdzvērtīgas atbildes, kādas Nacionālā apvienība sagaidīja no Laimdotas Straujumas gandrīz mēnesi atpakaļ. Un cerams, ka šīs atbildes būtu vēl plašākas un skaidrākas un Nacionālās drošības komisijas vadītājai Āboltiņas kundzei būtu iespēja skaidrot šo pozīciju tālāk sabiedrībai. Otrkārt, nododot šo jautājumu Nacionālās drošības komisijai, tiktu radīta iespēja virzīt divas ļoti būtiskas politikas: viena ir imigrācijas politika un otra - integrācijas politika. Imigrācijas politika nez kāpēc ir iestrēgusi Iekšlietu ministrijā. Tā ir iestrēgusi Iekšlietu ministrijā jau gadiem vai nu tāpēc, ka viens no koalīcijas partneriem ir ļoti kategorisks attiecībā uz jebkādu imigrācijas politiku, vai arī tāpēc, ka tas pēc būtības ir starpnozaru jautājums. Bet nekad tas nav ticis risināts kā starpnozaru jautājums. Un tāpēc Nacionālās drošības komisijas iespēja šo jautājumu pavirzīt jeb, precīzāk sakot, aizvirzīt līdz laimīgām beigām būtu pietiekoši liela un nozīmīga, un svarīga, jo bez šī jautājuma atrisināšanas nav iedomājama nekāda bēgļu uzņemšana. Otra politika, kuru būtu svarīgi pieņemt, ir integrācijas politika. Integrācijas politika šobrīd atrodas tādas politiķes rokās, kura, no vienas puses, neatbalsta 250 bēgļu uzņemšanu, bet, no otras puses, ļoti atzinīgus vārdus velta valdībai par 250 bēgļu uzņemšanu. Tad nu, Nacionālā apvienība, tieciet skaidrībā ar savu ministri, lūdzu! Un visbeidzot. Vai nu kara dēļ, vai nu klimata pārmaiņu dēļ, vai nu resursu (piemēram, dzeramā ūdens) nepieejamības dēļ bēgļu jautājumi ar katru gadu pasaulē tikai paplašinās. To mēs šobrīd redzam gan Eiropas Savienībā, gan citās pasaules vietās un reģionos, un Latvija neizbēgami saskarsies ar šo jautājumu daudz plašākā apmērā jeb mērogā. 2017.gadā ir pašvaldību vēlēšanas, 2018.gadā - nacionālās vēlēšanas, Saeimas vēlēšanas, un 2019.gadā - Eiropas Parlamenta vēlēšanas. Kolēģi, vai jūs patiešām gribat, lai šajās vēlēšanās dominētu viens jautājums - bēgļu uzņemšana vai neuzņemšana Latvijā? Lai tas tā nenotiktu, es aicinu jūs balsot par to, lai Nacionālās drošības komisija ir tā komisija, kura izskata Ministru kabineta ziņojumu un spēj leģitimizēt valdības darbu šajos jautājumos.
