Kopš šī gada 8.jūlija, kad vairāki Nacionālās apvienības deputāti pievienoja savus parakstus lēmuma projektam “Par uzdevumu Ministru kabinetam nekavējoties sniegt Saeimai izvērtētu ziņojumu par bēgļu uzņemšanu Latvijā no Āfrikas un citiem bēgļu izcelsmes reģioniem”, Ministru kabineta un Ministru prezidentes Laimdotas Straujumas komunikācija šajā jautājumā ir būtiski mainījusies. Šajā laika posmā Ministru prezidente ir izrādījusi iniciatīvu un tikusies ar Nacionālās apvienības pārstāvjiem, lai mēģinātu skaidrot valdības pieņemtos lēmumus un iesaistītos diskusijās ar partijas pārstāvjiem un - kas ir būtiski! - arī ar sabiedrību par dažādiem problēmjautājumiem, kas saistīti ar bēgļu pārvietošanu Eiropas Savienībā. Pēc Nacionālās apvienības iniciatīvas tika organizēta tikšanās, kurā gan piedalīties, gan arī vēlāk noskatīties to videoierakstā bija iespējams jebkuram sabiedrības loceklim, kam šī tēma šķiet aktuāla un būtiska. Apkopojot ne tikai Nacionālās apvienības, bet arī vairākus simtus sabiedrības iesūtītu jautājumu, tikšanās laikā Ministru prezidente sniedza atbildes teju uz 50 dažādiem jautājumiem. Šī iesaiste un iniciatīva ir apsveicama, un mēs aicinām gan Ministru prezidenti, gan arī citus valdības pārstāvjus turpināt šīs prakses īstenošanu un iesaistīties diskusijā ar sabiedrību arī turpmāk visa šī procesa ietvaros. Ministru prezidente sarunu procesā ir sniegusi savas atbildes gan uz Nacionālās apvienības, gan sabiedrību interesējošiem jautājumiem, ko patiešām novērtējam ar pozitīvu zīmi. Būtiski gan atzīmēt, ka ne visas atbildes bijušas pilnvērtīgas un pamatotas. Diemžēl atbildēs nesadzirdējām to, vai ir izvērtēti visi ar drošību, integrāciju un sociālu raksturu saistīti riski, kas attiecināmi uz bēgļu uzņemšanu Latvijā, kā arī to, vai tikusi kvalitatīvi izvērtēta Latvijas institūciju kapacitāte izskatīt un izvērtēt liela skaita patvēruma meklētāju pieteikumus. Tāpat Ministru prezidente diemžēl nav vēlējusies ņemt vērā Nacionālās apvienības paustos priekšlikumus - aktualizēt un definēt vēsturisko apstākļu nozīmi, panākot Latvijai īpašā izņēmuma statusa nostiprināšanu šajā jautājumā Eiropas Savienībā. Ņemot vērā, ka humānās krīzes apjoma un ar nelegālo imigrāciju saistīto incidentu skaits arvien turpina pieaugt, sasniedzot bezprecedenta apmērus, un ka jau tuvākajā laikā, 14.septembrī, gaidāma Eiropas Savienības iekšlietu un tieslietu ministru ārkārtas sanāksme Briselē ar mērķi rast risinājumus esošajai situācijai, Nacionālā apvienība uzskata, ka situācijas nopietnība un tās neatliekamā daba pieprasa pārorientēšanos no teorētisku un skaidrojošu ziņojumu turpmākas izklāstīšanas un uzklausīšanas uz reālu rīcību. Tāpēc Nacionālā apvienība, apsverot šodienas situāciju gan Eiropā, gan Latvijā, šajā balsojumā atturas. Uzskatām, ka šobrīd ir pienācis laiks daudz aktīvāk ķerties pie esošās krīzes cēloņu risināšanas, apzinoties, ka, cīnoties ar sekām, krīze netiks novērsta. Latvijas valsts apņemšanās brīvprātīgi uzņemt 250 bēgļus ir radījusi bīstamu precedentu gan lēmuma pieņemšanas, gan tā īstenošanas procesos. Balstoties uz šiem radītajiem apstākļiem, Nacionālā apvienība ir izstrādājusi priekšlikumus likumprojektam “Patvēruma likums” ar mērķi novērst vienu no šī valdības lēmuma pieņemšanas procesa problemātiskajiem aspektiem. Radītais precedents var sagādāt valdībai grūtības pretoties spiedienam atkārtoti iesaistīties solidaritātes mehānismos. Tāpēc par šāda veida jautājumiem - patvēruma meklētāju pārvietošanu uz Latviju - nākotnē būtu jālemj Saeimai, kas - atgādināsim! - Latvijā, parlamentārā republikā, ir valsts augstākā lēmējinstitūcija. Tāpat arī aicinām gan valdību, gan arī Saeimas deputātus nopietni apsvērt pašreizējās krīzes potenciālo ietekmi uz Latvijas sociālo, politisko un kultūras telpu un ne tikai ņemt vērā, bet arī nopietni stiprināt Latvijas nacionālo pozīciju bēgļu uzņemšanas jautājumā, ko iepriekš apstiprinājusi Saeima. Latvijas valstij, tāpat arī citām Eiropas Savienības dalībvalstīm, patvēruma meklētāju jautājuma lemšanā būtu jāturpina ievērot Eiropas Savienības savstarpējos līgumus un tās uzņemtās saistības un pienākumus, tos līgumus, kurus šobrīd atsevišķas Eiropas Savienības valstis atļaujas interpretēt, lai tos pielāgotu savā valstī valdošajam politiskajam noskaņojumam. Atgādinām, ka Lisabonas līgumā ir konkrēti atrunāts solidaritātes jēdziens, kuru arī atsevišķiem deputātiem Latvijā labpatīk interpretēt, lai tādā veidā manipulētu ar lēmumu pieņemšanas procesiem Latvijā. Aicinām arī citus deputātus ņemt vērā jautājuma neatliekamo dabu un pārorientēties no ziņojumu uzklausīšanas uz reālu darbību veikšanu un Latvijas nacionālās pozīcijas stiprināšanu! (No zāles dep.
