Es domāju, ka es šajā dzīvē esmu jau visu dzirdējis un mani nekas vairs nevar pārsteigt, bet tad, kad paklausījos “Latvijas Radio 5” tekstus, kas ēterā ir jau kopš ziemas, nevis nupat, ziniet, mani tie tomēr pārsteidza. Es arī ieteiktu trīs bērnu māmiņai Viņķeles kundzei palasīt TVNET vakar ievietoto dziesmas tekstu pilnu atreferējumu, tas ir tieši par sievieti, par māti un tā tālāk. Es jums iesaku izlasīt, jo, ja es būtu Dimanta kungs, pēc šīs vienas dziesmas “Latvijas Radio 5” būtu ciet. Bet lai nu paliek emocijas! Galu galā mēs te nerunājam par Svēto Pēteri, bet runājam par valsts iestādi, ko ievēlē Saeima, kurai ir tiesības prasīt no šīs valsts iestādes kaut kādus rezultātus. Un mēs uzdodam tādu lielu jautājumu: vai mediju jomā ir vērojami uzlabojumi pēdējo trīs gadu laikā? Nav vērojami uzlabojumi! Vai sabiedriskie mediji un komercmediji ir kaut kā nostājušies uz kaut kādas vienotas platformas un mēģina kopā kaut kā rūpēties par valsts iedzīvotāju labklājību, patriotismu? Nē, nav nekas tāds noticis! Sabiedriskie un komercmediji ir jo dienas, jo arvien dziļāk ierakumos viens pret otru. Un galu galā pirms šīs sēdes es speciāli aprunājos gan ar Laizānes kundzi, gan ar Mūrnieces kundzi, kuras pēdējos trīs gadus ir vadījušas šo atbildīgo komisiju. Pēc viņu teiktā, NEPLP iesniegtie likumprojekti visi ir sākotnēji bijuši absolūti nelietojami. Un praktiski visi tie grozījumi, kas ir pieņemti, visi ir pieņemti, strādājot komisijai, nevis NEPLP. Tad nu es paņēmu NEPLP 2014.gada publisko pārskatu. Un ko es tur konstatēju? Ka viņiem ir vesels sekretariāts, kurā ir... viens, divi, trīs... trīs juriskonsulti un vēl trīs eksperti, kā arī ļoti vērtīgs līgums ar advokātu Liepas kungu. Tad ir jautājums: ko viņi no sevis iedomājas? Un kāpēc galu galā, tērējot valsts līdzekļus, viņi nes uz Saeimu acīm redzamu brāķi? Un es domāju, ka tomēr zināmus rezultātus mums ir tiesības prasīt no šīs komisijas, ņemot vērā, ka mēs arī godprātīgi izpildījām Dimanta kunga pirmo prasību, ko viņš izteica, stājoties šajā amatā, tas ir, palielināt algu. Un, kas attiecīgi saņem, tam attiecīgi būtu arī jāstrādā, tāpēc es aicinu balsot “pret” Dimanta kungu.
