Un, no sociālās politikas viedokļa, mēs redzam, ka mēs varam atļauties tos grozījumus, ko mēs esam piedāvājuši. Bet, protams, mums pretī ir pamatbudžets, kurš diemžēl nevar nopelnīt šobrīd tik daudz, lai mums attiecībā uz konsolidēto budžetu iznāktu pozitīvs rezultāts. Bet, nu, vienīgais labums ir tas, ka mana 2009.gadā uzsāktā sociālās apdrošināšanas sistēmas reforma, iztīrot no tās ārā tos izdevumus, kas tur nekad nebija paredzēti, jau pagājušajā gadā ir devusi pozitīvu rezultātu. Pagājušo gadu mēs esam pabeiguši (vērtējot ieņēmumus pret izdevumiem) ar 100 miljonu plusu. Un šogad jau uzkrājums mums tiek plānots 531 miljona apmērā. Un, gadiem ejot uz priekšu, mēs redzam, ka diezgan strauji, ja ekonomikā nekas briesmīgi nesagāžas, mēs varam nodrošināt pietiekošu uzkrājumu arī nākamajām krīzēm.".
