Un katrā ziņā pats svarīgākais, ko es gribētu pateikt... Ja mēs visu laiku runājam par to, ka Latgale ir separātisma draudu ieskauts reģions, ka pašvaldības, kas ir nabagākas, ir kaut kādā veidā tiešām separātisti un ka tās tiek barotas no bagāto pašvaldību puses, tad šajā gadījumā viss šis likumprojekts un arī šis konkrētais priekšlikums it īpaši parāda, ka ar separātismu nodarbojas valdība un bagātās pašvaldības, jo tās nodala šīs... neteiksim nabagākās pašvaldības, bet pašvaldības, kuras atrodas tādā situācijā un tādās vietās gan pierobežā, gan tālāk no Rīgas, kur vienkārši objektīvi ir radusies tāda situācija, ka šie ieņēmumi nevar sasniegt vidējo līmeni valstī. Un Šimfas kundze jau pieminēja, ka arī šis ienākumu līmenis šajās pašvaldībās ir zemāks. Tajā pašā laikā, ja mēs palielinām neapliekamo minimumu, tad šī nodokļu masa, no kuras tiek aprēķināts arī pašvaldības budžets, paliek vēl mazāka. Līdz ar to mēs nenodrošinām vienmērīgu pašvaldību attīstību valstī. Un mūsu jaunais, pavisam nesen, pareizāk sakot, vakar, ievēlētais Valsts prezidents savā runā pēc ievēlēšanas teica, ka viņš iestāsies par vienmērīgu reģionu attīstību. Tātad es aicinu atbalstīt arī Valsts prezidenta izteikto viedokli un viņa prioritāti.
