Viens no tiem ir tas, ka ir pieņemti jau minētie grozījumi Patērētāju tiesību aizsardzības likumā. Vismaz pagaidām ir pielikts punkts tai nejēdzībai, kas bija saistīta ar ātrajiem kredītiem. Šis regulējums varēs novērst bezatbildīgās aizņemšanās rezultātu radītās sekas, kuras skar daudzus – desmitiem un pat simtiem tūkstošu cilvēku. Un doma ir tāda: ja turpmāk ātro kredītu kontrole turpināsies un būs Finanšu un kapitāla tirgus komisijas pārziņā, tad varbūt arī šajā sistēmā tiks ieviesta bankām līdzīga kārtība. Otrs jautājums, kas var skart katra no mums intereses tad, kad tās ir aizskartas, bija Augstākās tiesas priekšsēdētāja vēlēšanas. Latvijas Reģionu apvienības frakcija, mūsu frakcijas deputāti, pirms pieņemt lēmumu par atbalstu vienam vai otram izvirzītajam Augstākās tiesas priekšsēdētāja amata kandidātam, tikās ar abiem publiski noklausītajiem un izvirzītajiem kandidātiem – gan ar Ivaru Bičkoviču, gan Andri Guļānu. Abi iepazīstināja mūsu frakcijas deputātus ar savu redzējumu par darbu šajā augstajā un atbildīgajā amatā, un mūsu frakcija pieļāva, ka iespējams pat vēl kāds labāks kandidāts par šiem minētajiem. Latvijas Reģionu apvienība uzskata, ka Latvijas tiesu sistēmā ir nepieciešamas ļoti nopietnas reformas, ko var īstenot tikai cilvēks ar stingru mugurkaulu un līdera dotībām. Diemžēl pēc klātienes tikšanās ar Bičkoviča kungu Latvijas Reģionu apvienības frakcijas deputāti neguva pārliecību, ka šis cilvēks būs spējīgs īstenot šādas kvalitatīvas un konsekventas reformas tiesību sistēmā, tādēļ balsoja pret viņa apstiprināšanu. It sevišķi tādēļ, ka administratīvo lietu izskatīšana ir nesamērīga... un cilvēki līdz savām likumīgajām tiesībām iet daudzus gadus... Trešais jautājums, par ko šodien lēmām, ir izmaiņas Latvijas pensiju likumdošanā, jo valdība, neskatoties uz Satversmes tiesas lēmumu, savlaicīgi nevirzīja uz Saeimu jautājumu par pensiju indeksāciju jeb, pareizāk sakot, par pielietoto indeksu noņemšanu tiem pensionāriem, kuriem par viņu nostrādātajiem gadiem 2010., 2011., 2012.gadā tika piemēroti pazemināti koeficienti. Cilvēki šajos gados saņēma daudz mazākas pensijas, nekā par tādu pašu darbu un tādu pašu samaksu citā... Šis jautājums ir skatāms steidzamības kārtībā, un tas vēlreiz izgaismoja to, ka tikai ļoti aktīvs deputātu spiediens uz valdības ierēdņiem, valdības pārstāvjiem var veicināt šā jautājuma savlaicīgu izskatīšanu. Un tāds varbūt neliels jautājums, kas skāra mūsu frakcijas cilvēkus. Pirms dažām dienām bija Mandātu, ētikas un iesniegumu komisijas sēde, kurā lielā vienbalsībā tika noraidīti pārmetumi mūsu frakcijas deputātam Kaimiņam, kuri viņam tika izteikti no Neatliekamās medicīniskās palīdzības dienesta puses, un tika pieņemts, tikai vienai balsij esot “par” šādu pārmetumu izteikšanu viņam, lēmums, ka deputātiem ir tiesības saukt lietas īstajos vārdos. Ja ierēdņi mānās un melo, tad ir jāsauc lietas īstajos vārdos. Un attiecībā pret ierēdņiem, kuri ļoti bieži uzskata, ka pasaulē galvenie ir viņi, nevis likumdevējs, ir jāievēro korekta attieksme un nevar būt kaut kāda žēlošana un tamlīdzīgi. Paldies.".
