Mēs uzskatām, ka Eiropas valstu vidū solidaritāte bēgļu uzņemšanā var būt, bet ne attiecībā uz Latviju un Igauniju. Tām būtu jābūt īpašam statusam, tāpēc ka nekādi tiesiskie akti mums neuzliek par pienākumu bēgļus uzņemt un – tas vēl būtiskāk! – mums nav arī morāla pienākuma to jautājumu risināt, jo mēs joprojām cīnāmies ar okupācijas sekām. Ja šādi šis jautājums tiek virzīts, tad Latvija šo kvotu ir pilnībā izpildījusi ar šeit dzīvojošajiem 260 tūkstošiem nepilsoņu. Nacionālā apvienība uzskata, ka, risinot patvēruma meklētāju jautājumu, Latvija var sniegt tehnisku palīdzību (piemēram, varam sūtīt robežsargus un sniegt cita veida resursus), bet mēs kategoriski iebilstam pret jebkādām Eiropas Savienības institūciju noteiktām kvotām. Latvijai jāsaglabā tiesības pašai pieņemt šādus lēmumus. Otrkārt.
