Man ir tiešām neveikli kritizēt 3.priekšlikumu - ne tikai tādēļ, ka tas balstās uz manas politiskās grupas dalībnieces iesniegto 2.priekšlikumu, bet arī tādēļ, ka skatītā priekšlikuma formulējumi ietver patiesības, kuras nevienam ikdienā neienāks prātā apstrīdēt, proti, laulību un ģimeni. Tās ir skaidras, vienkāršas, neuzkrītošas un tik vispārīgas, ka pat par kategoriskām šīs patiesības ir grūti nosaukt. Taču, ja sadzīvē viegli un nesaistoši izteiktu frāzi ietver likumā, tā nenovēršami kļūst noteicoša gan ar savu motivāciju, gan ar kontekstu un sekām. Pat tad, ja likuma pantā ietver tādu banālu apgalvojumu, ka divi reiz divi ir četri, radīsies jautājums, kādu iemeslu dēļ un ar kādu mērķi šī konstatācija ir ietverta likumā. Un kas notiks, ja šī banalitāte tiks pārkāpta? Un, jo vienkāršāks ir panta formulējums, jo vairāk prasās to atšifrēt. Ir svarīgi nepieļaut cilvēktiesību pārkāpumu, bet, manuprāt, vēl svarīgāk ir saprast homofobijas cēloni. Droši vien tas ir pretīgums, ko izjūt heteroseksuālis, mēģinot pielaikot homoseksualitāti sev. Tas rada stipru vēlmi ierobežot savu un savu bērnu iespējamo saskarsmi ar gejiem, lesbietēm, rada un uztur aizspriedumus, konkrēti pieņēmumu, ka ar dzimumtieksmi pret sava dzimuma personām var inficēties kā ar vīrusu, ka to var iedvest, ka to var ieaudzināt, iesaistot bērnu spēlē kā otra dzimuma pārstāvi vai skaidrojot viņam homoseksuālas attiecības. Vēl vairāk jautājumu ir par glezniecības darbiem, teiksim, par Eduāra Manē gleznu “Brokastis zaļumos” skolas telpā. Vai mēs varam atļauties to izkarināt pie sienas skolā? Ja likumdevējs ņemas kaut ko aizliegt, tad aizlieguma objekts ir stingri jādefinē. Vēl grūtāk reglamentēt sabiedriskās apziņas formu izpausmes: zinātnei, reliģijai, tiesībām un tikumībai. Viss ir vēl sarežģītāk, jo tikumības normas mainās līdz ar laiku. Es gribu atgādināt, ka 19.gadsimta sākumā Austrijā, Vīnē, aizliedza dejot valsi ilgāk par 10 minūtēm, bet Vācijā valsis vispār tika uzskatīts par nepieņemamu un nepieklājīgu deju. Es saprotu, ka komisijas vēlas, lai skolās netiktu izplatīta pornogrāfija un netiktu piedāvāta prezervatīvu lietošanas instrukcija 3.klases skolniekam. Es šādus aizliegumus saprotu! Bet tie - šādi aizliegumi - jau pastāv! Zinātniski izstrādāti izglītības standarti sociālo zinību priekšmetos, bioloģijā piedāvā mācību saturu atbilstoši skolēna vecumam. Arī likumdošanai vārds “tikumība” nav svešs. Izglītības likuma 2.pants par likuma mērķi secina: “Atbilstoši izglītojamā vecumam un vajadzībām tiek nodrošināta iespēja tikumiskai, estētiskai, intelektuālai un fiziskai attīstībai, sekmējot dzirdīgas, prasmīgas un audzinātas personības veidošanos.” Papildmateriālu atbilstība izglītības saturam ir skolas administrācijas atbildība, attiecīgās mācību literatūras trūkums ir valsts atbildība. Standarti ir jāpilnveido, jāpaplašina, par to arī jārunā, nevis jāmēģina ar lauzni skaņot smalku izglītības mehānismu. Skatītā norma, pēc manas dziļas pārliecības, ir brāķis, un to nevar atbalstīt.
