Jautājums par pensionāru neapliekamo minimumu ir aktuāls jau vairāku gadu garumā, jo, kā mēs zinām, šis rādītājs nav pārskatīts kopš 9.Saeimas laikiem. Mēs, Latvijas Pensionāru federācija, šo jautājumu esam apsprieduši gan ar Valsts prezidentu, gan premjeri Straujumas kundzi un jāsaka godīgi, ka neesam saņēmuši noraidošu attieksmi no šīm valsts augstākajām amatpersonām. Es gribētu pievērst jūsu uzmanību tam, ka šis neapliekamā minimuma paaugstinājums neskars visus pensionārus, jo diemžēl lielākā daļa pensionāru šodien saņem pensijas, kuras ir mazākas par šobrīd noteikto neapliekamo minimumu. Tātad praktiski šis palielinājums skartu tikai tos pensionārus, kuri ir nostrādājuši 40, 50 un vairāk gadu, godprātīgi maksājot visus paredzētos nodokļus. Diemžēl situācija ir tāda, ka tās algas ir bijušas nesamērojami mazas salīdzinājumā ar šodienas izpeļņām. Es gribētu pievērst uzmanību vēl vienam faktoram, kas skar fiskālo telpu. Šādi, palielinot pensionāru neapliekamo minimumu, mēs zināmā mērā atslogosim pašvaldības un to budžetus, jo šodien ir zināms, ka lielai daļai pašvaldību maznodrošinātā statuss tieši ienākumu ziņā ir noteikts augstākā līmenī, nekā šodien ir pensionāru neapliekamais minimums. Līdz ar to domāju, ka ietekme uz konsolidēto valsts budžetu varētu būt daudz mazāka, ja mēs varētu to rēķināt tikai attiecībā uz ienākumu nodokli. Un visbeidzot. Es domāju, ka šāds priekšlikums ir atbalstāms tādēļ, ka tas faktiski ir ļoti saskanīgs ar Valdības deklarācijā minēto, ka mums ir jāmēģina izlīdzināt ienākumus un jāmazina ienākumu nevienlīdzība valstī. Es aicinu visus deputātus balsot “par” šādu priekšlikumu, saprotot to, ka šobrīd nav iespējams risināt jautājumu par neapliekamā minimuma noteikšanu minimālās algas līmenī, vai arī, kā to ierosina daudzi pensionāri, vispār jāatsakās no ienākumu nodokļa pensijām.
