No tiem dokumentiem, kas bija sagatavoti uz šīsdienas plenārsēdi un pie kuriem strādāja deputāti iepriekšējā nedēļā, īpašu vērību gribētu pievērst diviem likumu... diviem dokumentu projektiem. Pirmais ir likumprojekts “Grozījumi likumā “Par akcīzes nodokli””. Atsevišķi šāds likumprojekts, protams, nebūtu atbalstāms, jo piedāvā paaugstināt akcīzes nodokli degvielai, tas ir, uzliek patērētājam papildu slogu, atstājot gan transporta ekspluatācijas nodokli, gan palielinot degvielas cenu. Tomēr šis likumprojekts ir jāvērtē kopā ar likumprojektu “Grozījumi Transportlīdzekļa ekspluatācijas nodokļa un uzņēmumu vieglo transportlīdzekļu nodokļa likumā”. Šajā likumprojektā uz otro lasījumu bija iesniegti priekšlikumi, kas paredzēja atcelt šādu nodokli. Arī kaimiņvalstīs nav transportlīdzekļa nodokļa, tas ir ietverts akcīzes nodoklī degvielai. Tāpēc mūsu partijas nostāja nav mainījusies – kā bija pirmsvēlēšanu periodā, tā arī šobrīd mēs esam par taisnīgiem nodokļa maksājumiem. Proti, nodoklis nav jāmaksā ikvienam automašīnas īpašniekam tikai tāpēc, ka viņam šī mašīna ir, ar kuru varbūt viņš aizbrauc tikai līdz veikalam vai līdz ārstam. Taisnīgs nodoklis nozīmē – jo tu vairāk brauc (proti, lieto ceļus) un jo tev jaudīgāka mašīna (proti, tu tērē vairāk degvielas), jo tu vairāk arī maksā. Tāpēc mēs piekritām akcīzes nodokļa nelielai celšanai, lai gan, protams, balsojums arī bija... mēs balsojumā zaudējām šoreiz. Otrs ir lēmuma projekts “Par Saeimas piekrišanu valsts aizdevuma nosacījumu maiņai valsts akciju sabiedrībai “Privatizācijas aģentūra””. Mūsu partija vienmēr ir iestājusies par bankas “Citadele” palikšanu valsts īpašumā, taču tās pārdošanas process ir noticis, tikai tajā jau no paša sākuma nebija atklātas darījuma patiesās aizkulises. Sabiedrība netika informēta par to, cik ekonomiski pamatots ir šis darījums un ko tas dos vai nedos valstij. Valsts, pārdodot banku “Citadele”, vairāk zaudēs nekā iegūs. Šādus secinājumus var izdarīt, arī iepazīstoties ar šīsdienas lēmuma projektam pievienoto finanšu ministra vēstuli Saeimai. Kāds īsti ieguvums ir Latvijas valstij, Latvijas tautai no šī it kā veiksmīgā darījuma? Nav izveidota valsts banka, kas varētu kreditēt mazo vai vidējo biznesu vai jaunās ģimenes, tām iegādājoties pirmo mājokli. Un tāpēc esam spiesti pakļauties banku spiedienam nolikto atslēgu principa gadījumā. Pārdodot valsts daļu bankā “Citadele”, valsts ne tikai negūst nekādu labumu, bet vēl aizvien paliek parādā. Mēs kopā – tas ir, visi nodokļu maksātāji, – no bankas pārdošanas visu saņemto kaut kam atdosim un varbūt vēl pat piemaksāsim, lai dzēstu kredītus. Tāpēc mēs šodien nevarējām balsot par šādu lēmuma projektu, jo mums nav skaidrs viss darījuma tiesiskums. Jo neviens nespēj sniegt skaidrojumu, ko Latvija no tā visa iegūs. Paldies.".
