Kas darbu dara, tas klusē, un darbs par viņu runā.” Konventu izveide katrā valsts un pašvaldības profesionālās izglītības iestādē parāda, ka kāds savu darbu nedara un tā vietā, lai sāktu darīt, tiek veidota jauna glābējinstitūcija. Likumprojekta anotācijā varam lasīt, ka jaunu koleģiālu pārvaldes institūciju - konventu - nepieciešams izveidot, lai dotu iespēju sekmīgi īstenot darba vidē balstītas mācību sistēmas ieviešanu izglītības sistēmā. Konvents ar uzraudzības un padomdevēja funkcijām darbotos profesionālās izglītības iestādē, lai nodrošinātu darba devēju pieprasījumu un pāreju uz darba vidē balstītu izglītības sistēmu. Kādi būs papildu izdevumi bez darba algas ministrijas pārstāvjiem - jā, tieši tā likumprojektā ir norādīts - daudzskaitlī! - par braukšanu uz izglītības iestādi katru reizi, kad vajadzēs atlasīt darbiniekus uz izsludināto vakanci, veicināt iestādes sadarbību ar reģiona komersantiem, un vēl citu likumā noteikto funkciju izpildei? Cik darba stundu būs potenciāli jāpatērē darbam konventā? Vai Izglītības un zinātnes ministrijai tiešām ir darbinieki, kuriem ir par maz pienākumu darba laikā?! Vai plānots pieņemt Izglītības un zinātnes ministrijā jaunus darbiniekus, kuri strādās konventos? Un galu galā - kurš līdz šim bija atbildīgs par direktoru darba regulāru vērtēšanu? Kolēģi!
