Vislielāko izbrīnu visā šajā stāstā man tiešām izraisa Nacionālā apvienība. Nu, šodien viņi laikam ir iegādājušies Zatlera tankus: tik cieta pozīcija par nolikto atslēgu principu kā Nacionālajai apvienībai, manuprāt, nevienai no politiskajām partijām nav bijusi priekšvēlēšanu gaisotnē! Par to stāvēja un krita visi Nacionālās apvienības deputāti, metās aizstāvēt minēto ideju. Iepriekš Jūs apdejojāt bankas, šodien jūs apdejojat Latvijas tautu. Bet bankas jau nebūs mierā ar šo, nesamierināsies. Pirms nākamajām vēlēšanām jūs atkal apdejosiet bankas un atkal tās uzmetīsiet. Un šī ideja, šī tēze nav nekādas saistības ne ar jūsu iekšējo pārliecību, kuru jūs uzturējāt iepriekš, ne ar jūsu solījumu patiesumu un augstām cilvēciskām vērtībām, kurām, kā jūs uzskatāt, ir jāpiemīt Saeimas deputātiem.
