Tāpēc vēlos paust savu viedokli par ārlietu ministra ikgadējo ziņojumu par iecerēto darbību un papildināt ministra kunga tēzi, ka 2015.gadā Ārlietu ministrija sadarbībā ar Aizsardzības ministriju, Iekšlietu ministriju un citām institūcijām veltīs papildu pūles sabiedrības saliedētības stiprināšanai. Protams, terora draudi Latvijā ir ļoti zemi, taču pastāv zināms terora importa risks, jo līdz ar mūsu iestāšanos Eiropas Savienībā iekļūšana Latvijā jebkuram Eiropas Savienības teritorijā dzīvojošam teroristam kļuvusi nesalīdzināmi vienkāršāka. Un, runājot par iekšējo Latvijas drošību un sabiedrības saliedētības stiprināšanu, es saskatu vairākas problēmas, bet šodien minēšu tikai divas: pirmkārt, sašķelta Latvijas sabiedrība, kuras pārstāvjiem ir dažāda vēsturiskā atmiņa, un, otrkārt, atsevišķas pļāpīgas amatpersonas, kuras bārstās ar saukļiem un tracina sabiedrību. Runājot par pirmo problēmu, gribētos atzīmēt, ka Latvijas priekšrocība ir gadsimtiem ilgas dažādu etnisko, lingvistisko un reliģisko grupu līdzāspastāvēšanas un sadarbības tradīcijas. Tomēr traģiskie vēstures notikumi joprojām izraisa pretrunīgu izpratni Latvijas iedzīvotājos, kuri pieder dažādām etniskām grupām. Diemžēl, lai stiprinātu savu ietekmi, atsevišķi politiķi izmanto vai pat veicina emocionālas noskaņas, kas radītas no vēsturiski izveidotiem aizvainojumiem un aizspriedumiem. Es uzskatu tādu politiku par Latvijai nepieņemamu un pat bīstamu. Domāju, ka sabiedrības saliedētības politikas priekšnosacījums ir dažādām grupām piederošu cilvēku savstarpēja uzticēšanās. Tāpēc saliedētības politikas pamatā jābūt cieņai pret dažādu sabiedrības grupu interesēm, īpatnībām un vēsturisko pieredzi. Sabiedrības saliedētības politiku ir iespējams uzskatīt par veiksmīgu tikai tad, ja latviešus nemāc šaubas par latviešu kultūras attīstības iespējām un ja mazākumtautības ir pārliecinātas par Latvijas valdības un Saeimas patiesām rūpēm saglabāt viņu valodas un kultūras. Manuprāt, multikulturālas izglītības principa nostiprināšana skolās ir svarīgs sabiedrības integrācijas priekšnoteikums, radot izglītības sistēmā dabīgu un labvēlīgu vidi. Šādas garantijas, manuprāt, palīdzēs precīzāk formulēt Latvijas prioritātes un stiprināt valsts iekšējo drošību. Svarīgi, lai pilsoniskās sabiedrības viedoklis tiktu ne tikai uzklausīts, bet arī ņemts vērā. Runājot par otro problēmu, jāteic, ka tik tiešām Latvijā ir zems terorisma draudu līmenis, taču, lai to padarītu vēl niecīgāku, politiķiem nav jāaizraujas ar saukļiem, nav jātracina sabiedrība, bet jāpiedāvā virkne konkrētu pasākumu, kas varētu veicināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju saliedētību. Manuprāt, riskus rada tie Latvijas politiķi, kuri bārstās ar saukļiem, tādējādi provocējot sabiedrību un radot absolūti nevajadzīgu spriedzi. Kopumā es uzskatu, ka nav pieļaujama situācija, ka ārpolitika pārtop par iekšpolitikas ķīlnieci un sāk kalpot atsevišķu partiju šaurām interesēm, vienlaikus kaitējot Latvijas valsts interesēm. Cohesion policy presupposes that the mutual trust between different groups of people belonging to the groups should be based on respect for the interests, characteristics and historical experiences of various groups of society, which can only be regarded as a success if the Latvians are concernedfor English development opportunities and if minorities are convinced of the real concerns of Latvian governments and MPs to preserve their language and culture, strengthening the principle of multicultural education in schools is an essential precondition for society's integration, creating a natural and favourable education systemon the environment, I think that it will help to define Latvia's priorities more precisely and strengthen the country's internal security, so that the voice of civil society is not only listened to, but also taken into account when on the second problem, it must be said that there is a low level of terrorism in Latvia. The level of threat, however, to make it even more minor, the politicians need not be left with slogans; there is no need for a society, but a series of concrete measures that could encourage UK politicians who bother with slogans, thereby instigatingin general, I believe that there is no need for a situation where foreign policy is being held hostage to domestic domestic politics and is starting to serve the narrow interests of individual parties, at the same time to the detriment of the Latvian state, Thank you for your attention (fractions of Members' applause)".
