Šodien Saeimā norisinājās ārpolitikas debates, kas ir nozīmīgs pasākums ārpolitikas jomā, jo parasti diskutē par Latvijas ārpolitikā paveikto un plānoto. Diemžēl šis ārlietu ministra ziņojums nesniedza atbildes uz daudziem sabiedrībai būtiskiem jautājumiem ne nacionālā, ne reģionālā, ne globālā līmenī. Nav nedz šībrīža situācijas analīzes, nedz ziņojuma nosaukumā solīto iecerēto darbību. Var jau izveidot ap sevi veiksmes stāstu un izcilības iedomu, diemžēl dzīves īstenība ir cita. Un “No sirds Latvijai” uzskata, ka ārlietu dienesta darbinieku, ekonomisko atašeju devums, lai veicinātu valsts ekonomisko izaugsmi un nodrošinātu Latvijas interešu aizsardzību, nav bijis pietiekošs. Mēs lepojamies ar latviešu skolām un kultūras pasākumiem, tautiešiem ārvalstīs, bet nerisinām jautājumu, kā panākt strauju ekonomisko izaugsmi Latvijā, radot arī drošu un sociāli atbildīgu vidi un tādējādi panākot, ka mūsu tautieši, kuri devās piespiedu emigrācijā, priecēs visus, dziedot vietējos koros un dzīvojot Latvijā. Vārdos koalīcijas partijas atbalsta reģionu attīstību, bet darbi liecina par pretējo. Tieši tāpēc “No sirds Latvijai” deputāti ir uzdevuši deputātu jautājumus labklājības ministram Uldim Augulim par pēdējās dienās izskanējušo informāciju, ka tiek plānots slēgt valsts sociālās aprūpes centra “Zemgale” filiāli “Kauguri” un valsts sociālās aprūpes centra “Vidzeme” filiāli “Rauna”. Kā tas ietekmēs personu ar garīga rakstura traucējumiem saikni ar ģimeni, radiniekiem, draugiem? Kā tas ietekmēs reģionos nodarbinātību? Šie ir tie jautājumi, kuros koalīcijai nebūtu jāpieiet grāmatvediski, bet jāņem vērā cilvēku vajadzības. Mēs uzdodam konkrētus jautājumus un ceram uz skaidrām atbildēm, nevis kārtējām atrunām.
