Līdz ar to manis minētajā regulā Nr.1316/2013 šie Eiropas Savienībā kopīgi noteiktie principi ir minēti. Es jau minēju, ka Latvijā neviens normatīvais akts lielo infrastruktūras objektu uzraudzību atbilstoši šīs regulas prasībām nereglamentē. Protams, jebkura regula ir izpildāma jebkurā dalībvalstī. Tas ir vispārējs princips. Bet vienlaikus, veidojot šādus nacionālos tiesību aktus, mums ir iespēja arī savas specifiskās intereses iestrādāt šajos likumdošanas aktos. Tas bija galvenais iemesls, kāpēc tomēr komisija izlēma, ka šāds Ministru kabineta veidotais likumprojekts ir nepieciešams, un komisijas vairākums tā virzību Saeimā atbalstīja. Vēlreiz komisijas vārdā lūdzu atbalstīt šo likumprojektu pirmajā lasījumā.".
