Mēs novērtējam, ka tiks veicināta cīņa ar korupciju un kapitālsabiedrību uzraudzības pilnveidošana, tai skaitā valsts kapitālsabiedrībās tiks izveidotas profesionālas padomes, kas būs ieceltas caurskatāmā atlases kārtībā. Tikai nesen Ārlietu ministrija informēja, ka Latvijas līdz šim veiktās kopējās izmaksas OECD sasniegušas 8,17 miljonus eiro. Vēršam uzmanību, ka šobrīd Latvijas valdība var nosaukt tikai iespējamo ikgadējo maksu par dalību OECD, kas varētu sasniegt 2,78 miljonus eiro gadā. Par pārējiem izdevumiem, tai skaitā jaunas pārstāvniecības atvēršanu un citiem iespējamiem izdevumiem, Latvijas valdība sola sniegt informāciju pēc līguma parakstīšanas. Tādējādi nodokļu maksātāji pat nevar nojaust, kādas būs tiešās izmaksas dalībai OECD. Mūs satrauc jautājums, ka Latvijas valdības parakstītais līgums paredz “paplašināt kapitāla aprites liberalizāciju”. Ko tas nozīmē Latvijai? Apņemšanos no 2019.gada 31.decembra atcelt jebkādus ierobežojumus uz lauksaimniecības un meža zemes iegādi, zemes iegādi Baltijas jūras un Rīgas jūras līča krasta kāpu aizsargjoslā un valsts nozīmes derīgo izrakteņu atradnēs. Gan mēs, opozīcijas deputāti, gan sabiedrība nebijām informēti par šādu - uzskatām, ļoti augstu - maksu par dalību OECD. Lai būtu šo bagāto valstu klubiņā, mēs uz ziedojuma altāra liekam ne tikai nodokļu maksātāju naudu, bet arī Latvijas zemi. Ja iepriekš apstiprinātie likuma grozījumi paredzēja ierobežojumus, lai Latvijas zemi neizpērk nerezidenti un fondi, tad ar šo līgumu mēs atļausim zemi pirkt daudz plašākam un maksātspējīgākam potenciālo pircēju lokam. Mēs aicinām valdību godīgi informēt sabiedrību, ka šī līguma cena ir iespēja ārvalstniekiem iegādāties Latvijas laukus un mežus, kā arī Baltijas jūras un Rīgas jūras līča krasta kāpu aizsargjoslas.
