Tieši tāpēc bija iesniegts šis priekšlikums, kas ļautu izveidot tā saucamās līmeņatzīmes, proti, balstoties uz īpatnējo enerģijas patēriņu, salīdzināt dažādu uzņēmumu energoefektivitāti gan savā starpā, gan ar attiecīgās nozares labākās prakses piemēriem. Un šāds piedāvājums bija - iekļaut to energoefektivitātes monitoringā. Metodi izmanto vairākās valstīs, un tas dotu ļoti labus rezultātus bez kādiem papildu pasākumiem. Uzņēmums zinātu, kā tas salīdzinoši ar saviem konkurentiem... tas nezinātu tieši konkurentu datus, bet zinātu, kurā vietā tas atrodas šajā konkurences skalā. Komisija neatbalstīja šo priekšlikumu ne tik daudz pēc būtības, bet tādēļ, ka Ekonomikas ministrijas ieskatā ir arī citas metodes un līdz ar to tās būtu iekļaujamas Ministru kabineta noteikumos. Tomēr uzskatu, ka likumā to iezīmēt būtu bijis labāk. Taču paļausimies šobrīd uz šo Ekonomikas ministrijas solījumu komisijas sēdē, tādēļ pašlaik šo priekšlikumu es atsaucu. Paldies.".
