Saeimas Juridiskā komisija ir izskatījusi likumprojektu “Grozījumi Civilprocesa likumā” un ir nolēmusi to atbalstīt un virzīt izskatīšanai Saeimas sēdē pirmajā lasījumā. Šis likumprojekts ir saistīts ar likumprojektu “Uzturlīdzekļu garantiju fonda likums”, kas pirmajā lasījumā jau ir atbalstīts. Un, tā kā ir paredzēta jauna kārtība, kas samazinātu administratīvo slogu vecākam, kura aprūpē ir bērns un kurš bērna uzturam nesaņem uzturlīdzekļus no otra vecāka vai saņem tos tādā apmērā, kas mazāks par Ministru kabineta noteikto minimālo apmēru, ir nepieciešams izdarīt procesuālus grozījumus. Likuma mērķis ir pēc iespējas ātrāk nodrošināt bērnu ar uzturlīdzekļiem, lai nevajadzētu gaidīt, kamēr tiesvedībā tiek izskatīta prasība un spriedums nodots tiesu izpildītājam izpildei, jo tikai tad, ja tiesu izpildītājs konstatē, ka izpilde nav iespējama, vecākam bija iespējams vērsties Uzturlīdzekļu garantiju fondā. Proti, šo sistēmu vēlamies mainīt, un turpmāk nepastāvēs šie šķēršļi uzturlīdzekļu saņemšanai tik ilgu laika periodu. Vecāks varēs pats ārpustiesas kārtībā personīgi vērsties Uzturlīdzekļu garantiju fonda administrācijā ar iesniegumu un lūgt izmaksāt uzturlīdzekļus no Uzturlīdzekļu garantiju fonda. Pēc tam fonds attiecīgi regresa kārtībā valsts izmaksātos uzturlīdzekļus piedzīs no otra vecāka. Tātad Civilprocesa likumā šie grozījumi skar jautājumus par uzturlīdzekļu prasības ierosināšanu, uzturlīdzekļu piedziņu, kā arī uzturlīdzekļu lietu izpildu lietvedību. Līdz ar to Juridiskās komisijas vārdā aicinu atbalstīt šo likumprojektu pirmajā lasījumā.".
